Thanks for making the video. I'm considering the HD10 Defender Pro (longbed) version. Sounds like you like the buggy but what specifically did you like about this unit vs what else you were considering? The defender PRO is the only long bed utility focused buggy out there or i'd buy a honda pioneer 1000 and call it a day. What other brands/models were you considering? I agree with your aftermarket comments... factory parts are stupid expensive and hard to justify and I also like the CanAm lock and ride catalog of parts. Thanks!

@freidrichnietzsche6643 I was considering all brands. I chose the Can Am because the ATV I had was a Can Am and was a good machine for me for the 8 years I owned it. The Can Am ATV is difficult for me to work on(it was a 570 Vtwin) and this Defender HD10 is really easy to get at all the general maintenance stuff. Also a huge thing for me is the way I was treated at the Can Am dealership was way better than the other brands...they didn't pressure me at all and gave me plenty of time to make my decision. Honda is good but I believe they have a dual clutch transmission and I really wanted to stay with the CVT. The comfort and usability of this Can Am HD10 is second to none in my opinion. And that 82HP V twin has plenty of power!

@@manvsmachine7279 Appreciate the reply! Each machine & brand has their quirks but it is harder to find gripes about the CanAms which is another reason why they're high on my list. I do love the HD10 engine and build quality of these units. Dealership impression is important and I'm lucky to have a CanAm dealer near us and I've also been treated respectfully thus far. That goes a long way for me.
Dual clutch vs CVT - was it mostly about comfort and convenience or have you had good/bad experiences with dual clutches in the past? Honda's overall reliability and our past success with them is what keeps me interested!

@@freidrichnietzsche6643 It was more about the comfort and convenience for me with the CVT. I know of several guys that have over 5,000 miles on the original belt of the their Can Am and they just hold up well. And if a belt should need to be replaced it's relatively inexpensive and it's in a very accessible area.
