I bought a 450 6x6 last year for hunting at Pines in PA. It’s got 27 XTR’s and that’s it. Goes through everything and it’s already pulled a moose and 2 elk. Love the thing.

Love my 450 (regular 4x4) for around the property. Light and plenty of pulling power in low range. The 6x6 would be awesome for what I do. Cool unit.

I’ve been thinking about a defender 6x6 but that 450 6x6 would be great new unit for my Wifey thanks for the great videos and great knowledge on the units.
The 450/570 platform is killer even in the regular chassis I ride the crap out my 570 have had 0 issues in 4.5 years and follow the 1000s anywhere they go🤘🏼🤘🏼

Ive been gathering part numbers and research to convert my 19 outlander 1000r to a 6x6, it honestly looks the same as hers parts-wise and I think it would be a pretty dope machine when its done. Ive been scouring the auction sites, CL, etc etc for a wrecked or destroyed 6x6 but no luck yet.

Man, you wouldn’t believe how much people scoff at my 6x6 defender before we go out and ride technical trails here in Colorado(on vacation from Montana). They’re usually riding in rzr turbos or x3 mavericks, set up pretty nicely too.
But by the end of the day they all say the same thing: “man, that thing really does do well doesn’t it?!”
Never underestimate the “inchworm”(my 6x6’s name)
It’s long. It’s slow. But wherever the head goes, the ass is sure to follow. 🤣
I love crawling super slow through areas that those poor 4x4s had a nightmare getting through, repositioning several times before having to skinny pedal their way through.
I usually shoot a nice little glance right at em when they are watching me in disbelief 😝

That's a Minty unit!! I wouldn't go too crazy on the tires tho, you don't have alot of horses to spare... maybe 27" cryptids or 27" xtrs . I have xtrs on my old 400, absolutely no complaints!

That reminds me of when they first came out with the Polaris ranger 6/6 and we were out in the woods in the middle of the winter cutting wood and that little bastard was unstoppable

I believe that little plate they welded on is for a rear winch or tiger tail with a fairlead bolts on top of the rear diff braces
That rear plate above the axle may be a place to mount a rear facing winch. The exhaust has a weird tin rattle to it. Not sure if it’s cause it’s new or not.
That thing is nuts! A set of 28in aztexs would work great on that bike!

I ran a 400 outlander max for the longest time. It was the hill climb king and so cheap on fuel and kept up with the v twins

Can y’all imagine if someone was to build a 2-3” frame extension kit for in front of the center diff and a 2-3” extension for behind it and in front of the rear diff and then add the 2” front A-arm kit you probably run 30” tires with no problem and maybe even 32s
