Thank you so much for this in-depth review. You have answered all my questions about the book! My main concern was seeing if there were instructions regarding various ways to join the strips and now I know that is not addressed in the book. The idea of crocheting strips of varying patterns is fantastic. I have done this on my own for years but thought a guide might help me perfect my haphazard approach! Thank you for the review. I personally would not sew strips together because I don’t like to. I would crochet them together or I would plan strips that had the same stitch count or add a row where I add or delete stitches as needed to set up the next section. It is nice to see the sample blankets - both the color combos and stitch combos.
