Analyze Kingsley Suamataia! does not have the technique but his upside is tremendous, athletic and ambidextrous. Raw prospect which is why he's rated late 1/2nd rd but converted RT to LT in limited snaps and is stronger than Troy with feet that are not far off. Troy is def ready to go day one but hopefully he drops due to his height. Just being realistic about what's available, Kingsley is my guy.
@@davidofthecruz use 61 to trade up I’d rather trade up for zach Frazier though he’s a nasty, athletic IOL. Frazier was also a D1 wrestler so that guy can move, I’m a sucker for multi-sport linemen haha
Seems like Troy is a good fit for the Niners offensive scheme especially with their running game and is an asset for pass protection. This would be an upgrade over Colton McKivitz or Burford. Let's get him. If I were weating the GM hat, I definitely would package some of those compensatory picks for him.
Troy is a top 15 pick his size is not an issue because Polynesian people are extremely strong. I took Talano Hufanga off my draft board because he was slow and small but he plays with good strength and he tackles ball carriers with ease. I’ll never make that mistake again I hope that don’t sound like a racial stereotype but it’s actually true in the football scouting world.
This is a true stereotype. I grew up playing ball, and a similar built poly compared to another race- chances are the poly was stronger. It’s like their bones are more dense or something. But this is a true stereo type. And it’s a compliment to Polynesians really.
Would love this guy but I don't think the Niners can get up that high to get him. I think the Niners are relegated to 2nd tier tackles or first tier interior lineman at 31.
I'd give up next years 1rst to get Troy Fautanu but warming up for Kingsley Suamataia at 31 and Roger Rosengarten at 63 as the realistic option. I thought Roger was just a measurables guy but he block opposite Troy which was Pennix's blindside. In this case Kingsley can start at RG eventually take over LT and Roger can play RT right away.
@@javarzshinall9396 so ur assuming he is an all pro and I'm assuming that it's not a guarantee and if he was he would be drafted top 10 most likely. And yes this year I'm sayn WR n o-line deep. In other words if ur guy not a all pro at 15 and just a starter waisted other assets.
I think having a player that can cover multiple positions on the o-line with great technique would be a better fit, especially with the 49ers injury curse.
After listening to Lombardi go through his projected pre-draft 53 man roster that’s already pretty full I wouldn’t be surprised if the Niners use some of their 10 picks to trade up for someone.
Yes. Enough of the kmart ol. There was a story if a player the 49ers drafted i think. He hit montana in a no hit practice. Bill walsh cut him in the spot threw him out,and had security empty his locker. No qb no ring!
From that video, I was more impressed with number 55 from Michigan Mason Graham. He had 7 tackles again Washington in the CFP as a true sophomore. I think he is one player to watch. Fautanu looks good, but I wouldn't put him as the top Tackle in the draft.
who says the niners don't value OL? I think its dependent on how they assess the draft class bc they did draft McGlinchey early but our 5th rd pick McKivitz has been way more reliable.
We are drafting a CB w round 1. We HAVE to get cheaper at CB since we can't sign both Demo and Mooney. We can survive w a tackle to develop in later rounds but we can't miss on a talented CB. At least we can have 3 talented CBs heading into 2024. Look at the struggles we had this year in the slot and nickel position.Thats why we're going db in round one
Please give us a review of Kingsley Suamataia, he reminds me of Troy only one inch taller and ten pounds heavier but two and a half years younger and less experienced.
watch his left foot. instead of being aligned underneath him, it's kicked out. if he sets it like that no problem, but if it's only on pass downs so he can get his kick step going faster...that's a simple tell it's pass. Ok, you just ran a run play...and it's not the same foot placement...dude has to work on his feet positioning or be telling defenses all the time when it's pass or run.
@@TheSFNiners sweet, I’d also love to hear your breakdowns on some of the interior guys like Mason MacCormick from SDSU and Frazier from Virginia Tech. Keep it up Brad I’ve followed ur IG since 2021!
Ask any O lineman what they’d rather do, run or pass block - they’ll say run block because it’s easier , therefore run blockers are easier to find .. we need great pass protectors, and those are not so easy to land in draft.
@@publikenemi49 I don’t doubt you’re wrong but being the best run blocker in the draft is different than preferring to run block lol He’s projected as a top 3-4 lineman this class so I bet he’s good in pass pro too
Looking at the draft chart, they would have to trade away almost their whole draft to get into the top 15, unless you want to trade next year’s #1. I think he’s out of reach.
I don't care we got at least 8 picks get what we can to help offense new kick off rules and defense is going to be worse for NFL offense is critical especially no more hip drop tackles our run game and pass protection is very important because defense is at a disadvantage
I really have no idea where you’re coming from. So far they have every single starter from last years offense under contract for this season. If you believe Oline was the limiting factor last season (most of us would now that Wilkes is gone) then why wouldn’t it be worth moving up for a premier lineman in this draft?
agree with Fautanu as OL #1 in this draft.
My son played youth football with Troy. Would love to have him on the team. This guy came from a really good family.
He’s a steeler
As a Husky fan I completely approve of this video. Man would be a beast and instantly improve the Niners OL.
Also as a Dawg fan, I would also love this. But damn I’m going to miss watching all these guys dominate CFB next year.
I would indeed trade up from pick #31 to #15 for Troy Fautaunu he's a beast of an Offensive Tackle.
W Video and keep up the great content

He’ll prob go late-30s through the mid 40s he could be another trade up candidate but in round 2
probably a 2nd or 3rd rounder. very raw, gets lost, bad technique, needs a couple years.

I'd trade Aiyuk for that earlier pick.
Purdy with time can pick apart anyone with -->anyone

He'll be gone. Nobody will want to trade him to us. We'll get Kingsley Suamataia.
Yeah would cost a 2nd to move up that much, too expensive. U can get a very good OT and guard. With those picks.😊
We could draft Zack Zinter on day two.
Clicked as soon as i seen cuz i completely agree

Send BA to Jax for #17 & 4th rd pick

You shouldn't pay too much for a guard.
I can see the blue gem 💎 hidden development trait for him on madden 25 already 😍 SUPERSTAR!!! 🎉
Rashawn Slater was a draft crush of mine because he had 5 position versatility
Love the idea and the breakdown if he slips they’ve got to trade up.

Is he better than Beebe or Puni? Probably not.
Bruh he is a top 12 player.. this is not happening
I think he'll be good but I like him better at guard, I think his running mate Rosengarten is a little bit better of a prospect at tackle
