  • How to load tractor tires with windshield washer fluid for an easy upgrade giving more traction, better hill stability, and additional weight / ballast which helps with using your front end loader. Windshield washer fluid is inexpensive, easy to obtain, will not freeze, and will not corrode the wheels like calcium and other wheel ballast options.
I also show the progress on my Kubota B20 tractor restoration project.

I have the front end loader back on the tractor now. It has been very handy the last few weeks working on adding some storm ditches around the property. The extra weight in the back tires definitely helped a lot.

You need to add a diode on the ground side on the fuse box to make the light turn off while the ignition is off, or you have a neg and nuetral switched somewhere, hope this helps

Nice. I just decided to load my tires also. Found 55gal drum of -20 washer fluid at O'Reilly's for $127. Might save some money over buying in gallon jugs...

After having used the new front tires some, I will agree they could definitely stand to be stiffer. I have maxed out the loader, and while they do work, the front tires get very squashy. Combine that with any kind of side-hill / slope, and the front tires to not inspire much confidence. In other conditions however they have worked very well.
