This is an install video on interior foot lights. This is a straight forward install and can be done on any car. They are adhered to the uderside of each footwell. This kit cost $25 from a local auto parts store.
Awesome and super easy! Thanks for the video.
My man you can cause a fire like that, you have to use a circuit tap to safely connect a wire to a fuse. You giving people bad info bro.
Thanks for the video. That's an easy install and it looks great!
I did the same in my Gen coupe awhile ago, but I found a constant power, and I hooked up a switch and ran an in line fuse, cause the way you wrapped it around that fuse made the fuse inoperable. I did stereo instalation and interior lighting for a living, and if I can say that it looks nice, and I love all the mods that you have done, but that would be a good Idea to run a constant 12v wire and put a switch and in line fuse.
How do you close the fuse box cover if the wire is sticking out?
How can you hook it up so it comes on only when the door is open like the dome lights?
Did you just rap bare wire around both metal fangs on the fuse? There goes that amp rating and possible fire if you ever get a short.
How did you hook up the passenger wire and driver side wire to the main wire? In other words which wire goes with which?
Dude! If you don't want to splice into the wire exiting the fuse box (the best way), you should pickup a fuse tap. It plugs in in place of the fuse and has a block where you can insert the original fuse as well as a second fuse for the new circuit. It has a lead you can crimp onto your wire. Much safer. The way you wrapped the wire around the fuse is totally ghetto and unsafe.
i have a 2000 honda accord and i can't get the wire behind the washer on the ground? i followed everything you did except i snapped into the radio fuse? why didn't it work? any help would be great thanks
Hi, I have a issue with mine. I put the red wire in with the fuse wrapping it around (in the daytime running light and tried it with numerous others) I had the black wire screwed down to a bolt as we but I had no luck what so ever getting the led to work.. Any idea why?
Looks like i have a new mod to do.
Great vid. I want my lights to come on when my dome light is on. So, I guess I just insert the hot wire to the dome light fuse? Isn't there a product where you can add the hot wire without wrapping it around the fuse?
Looks good, i was wondering if you can dim them if you connect through the headlight fuse? if i connect through the interior lights fuse will i be able to dim them than by using the interior light dimmer that comes with the car?
I would have connected mine to the dome light so that way the lights are not on while I am driving
hello, i am trying to put foot well LED lights in my 2005 mustang v6 4L, i saw your video and it completely changed how i want to do them and i like your way muh better, although i cant seem to find the fuse for the lights, do you have any suggestions
Hey your car looks awesome! I don't have enough wire for my footwell leds, so what kind of wire should I buy to be able to reach the passenger side?
Got it maybe if i change the color other then white , it would better in the daylight ,, thanks again brother
