Elliott Smith's Either/Or (In 5 Minutes)
This album seriously changed my life, Elliott is one of my favorite songwriters of all time.
He was heavily influenced by the Beatles during the recording of EVERY album.
Dude. Props to you guys for having the integrity to fix your mistake and re-upload. Seriously, most folks wouldn't bother. Thank you.
We lost Elliott 15 years ago today. Rest easy legend..
Why didn't you include the fact that the album was heavily influenced by Soren Kierkegaard's book of the same name? Seems like a bit of an oversight.
One of the greatest singer/songwriters ever. Right up there with McCartney, Elton John, Paul Simon, Lisdsay Buckingham...
Either/Or is the best record ever put to tape I swear to God.
Elliot’s shirt game was always on point
it's odd knowing Elliotts biggest hit was an out take
You guys left out how Smith named the album after a book by Kierkegaard. Seriously, how did you miss this?
Beautiful record from a beautiful human being
I listen to this album religiously. So amazing and criminally underrated, should be up there with Sgt Pepper’s and Pet Sounds. Love u Elliott, thanks for everything 💜💜
Nice that this was re-uploaded on the 20th anniversary :)
We love ya Elliot. His talent for doubling his vocal and guitar is insanely difficult to pull off.
my favorite from the album is ballad of big nothing, anyone else?
Rose Parade is about being forced by friends to take a part in "happy" event, when you are depressed and feel like shit, literally unable to feel happy.
One of the best albums ever one of the best artists ever
Songs certainly do mean specific things, but it's up to the listener to decide what the songs mean to them and what it means to their life.
My very first introduction to Elliott Smith and it just blew me away. I then bought all his other albums up to that point and became a fan ever since. RIP
I was 3 and a half months old when this album was released.
