Police Interceptors!
Some situations just go wrong, and suspects decide to do things the hard way. What looks like another routine stop one minute can turn into a deadly car chase the next. Police Interceptors is an action-packed simulator that puts you right in the middle of these dangerous situations. As a police officer behind the wheel of a cruiser, it’s your job to engage in pursuit and adapt your decisions to the rapidly developing situation. So be fast about it - in the line of duty there’s no time for standing around and overthinking.
High-speed chases
Your task is to apprehend the drivers of runaway vehicles. Pay attention to information from HQ, locate the suspect, and stay hot on their trail. With its accurate physics, the game offers all the realistic experience that can come from this challenging duty. There’s no telling if you’ll be going after a sports car or a massive truck. Expect your driving skills to be tested thoroughly, as going at top speed is only one of the many challenges you’ll be facing.
Threats and decisions
It may be rush hour in the center of a metropolis, a dark night with limited visibility, or something as predictable as a changing traffic light. You’ll be facing several challenges in your line of duty and you have to handle them all to protect your fellow citizens from the reckless runaway. Don’t allow innocents to be harmed as you follow the suspect and use what you must to stop them - backup, your own cruiser, or even gunfire.
Suspect apprehension
Catching up with the fugitive and getting them to stop is just one side of the medal. It could be they won’t be ready to give themselves up just yet and continue their escape on foot. Watch out, they may be armed and violent, so exercise caution. You’ll have your gun, your handcuffs, and your taser ready. Make the right choice.
Performance evaluation
You’ll be rated on how well you handled the situation. Limit the damages, don’t let bystanders get hurt, and of course don’t let the suspect get away. Use your best judgment since many situations don’t need you to get excessive. Perform exceptionally well and, who knows, that juicy promotion might just come your way. Now buckle up, it’s time to get out there to protect and serve. At top speed.
If a company can produce a realistic game like LSPDFR, but improved animations and such, I think it would be a hit

Absolutely, I have NO idea why there hasn’t been a game created so you can role play as a cop, just like lspdfr though. They have a farming simulator, mechanic simulator but not a police sim? I mean really. Some of these ones that are out have such horrible mechanics and graphics it’s ridiculous. I wish Rockstar would just make a game that you could role play as a cop, and a firefighter etc.... if you look at all the views these streamers have that play lspdfr and how much of a following they have it should be pretty damn clear that people want a game like this. And not just for pc, come out on all platforms!

@@brad2737 need for speed hot pursuit multiplayer is the closest we'll get. It's arcade, so it's more of garry's mod cops vs robbers but with cars and mario kart elements, but it's fun as hell.

I'm just gonna point out either way this game is most likely on very early development, meaning the trailer is mostly or fully animated just to show what the devs hope for the game.

They're never able to get it right. Why do all these companies think people want an arcade-style mission-based game for policing. Do these developers do ZERO research into the main demographic of people they're making a game for? I mean time and time again people make games like this and then wonder why they flop. NOBODY WANTS THIS. How is the best policing game still a GTA V mod made by "amateurs" (not an insult just kinda true)? Flashing Lights is the closest to getting it right. These games are honestly starting to piss me off because the devs clearly make no attempt to make something anyone will enjoy.

The one police game I want to see, would be LA Noir first responder. Where you would take calls like Grand Theft Auto V and then open world setting. But the issue is this is unlikely if not impossible not to mention the FR Community has already refused to consider making anything involving LA Noir mods. Because of how hard locked the scripts are. We don't want point-and-click games, we want police games which are realistic but also fun. Not games were free point-and-click and make decisions. Not to mention that decision should be realistic not stupid. Making a bad decision should half a consequence but it should not be downright stupid like blowing up the car by shooting the gas tank.

It looks like a police game you’d find on the app store. And from the mission accomplished thing it basically tells us its not open world. Non of the options on the wheel are good. Why cant anybody make a game like lspdfr just with less glitches and better animations?

Seems rather... dull. Basic models for cop cars, stock siren effects. Radial menu could be a bit better... should have better options than “Shoot the fuel tank”. Better police actions than drifting as that opposes danger to yourself and the public. Maybe better options like “request a spike strip”. It would make a lot more sense to do it like that. I get their point they wanna make a simple police game that is meant to be fun but I feel like they should add realism too.

eh, it's got aspects to improve on. It's not terrible though and for something that still has a good amount of time until planned release date, it has a lot of room until then to improve. Worst comes to worst, they push back release.
