To have the Italian badge, Italian law requires the design to be made in Italy, and something like 75% (I am not completely sure on the number > 60% for sure) to be manufactured in Italy.
Basically ur buying a Bentley/Porche/Audi with a Lamborghini bodywork and Italian leather.
And you also get Range Rover reliability

Jaguar 1991 Well they have v10’s and v12’s that get constantly abused. Even base model rr have horrible reliability. A shame really good cars but very unreliable

Yes, I think the standards are so low now, and that fact so established, that there is no point in repeating it..! Which makes it even sadder!
Its a Pontiac Azteck with lamborghini badges, and other, erm, bits from volkswagens parts bin.
My problem with the Urus is that Lamborghini could have made it Lamborghini-crazy with a V12. Instead the germans got involved and made it VAG-crazy. Dont get me wrong. It's still nuclear fast and extremely flamboyant. But it lacks something that makes it a true Lamborghini. Something i cant put my finger on.

I don't see the problem with being a jacked up spiced Q7/Audi/VW, it has a 3.5 second 0-60, it has a different upscale design/aesthetic (if buyer likes it) and more power, more options, better leather, alcantara, dash board, seats, etc. I respect it even if it doesn't suit my taste in outer design

1:14 that many-gear close-ratio automatic gearbox frequently upshifting with very little RPM variation - doesn't even sound like a car. What it sounds like is a motorboat plowing through waves at full power.

"Luxury Performance SUV" - huge, massively-powered extremely expensive things that in my opinion should never have existed. Something people should realize that if you try to make it everything (being big, off roading, performance, luxury), it will be good at nothing. I feel like such a thing is somewhat of a discrace for the Lamborghini name, at least for what it always has been revered as, just as the Cayenne is to Porsche - that is not what Porsche is supposed to be.
I think they should. In my country where roads are not that great and and great deal is given for practicality. A normal Lambo would be very hard to live with while this would be very much considerable
To be fair it looks fantastic and is probably more comfortable.
It's meant to be a sporty luxury car not a supercar.

Car manufacturers really need to rethink their naming, Urus/Anus, Ferrari Pista/Pasta, Nissan Juke/Joke, or Kia K900 K9/dog, many others..
Ferrari is Italian, so Pista/Pasta make sense

There should be a race of Clarkson, Hammond and May from San Francisco to Los Angeles along the majestic Pacific Coast Highway. San Francisco Bay Area is a well known home for technology companies, like Pixar Studios, Lucasfilm's ILM, Google and Twitter. Can the three hand deliver the hard drive of the finish cut of a new movie to Los Angeles? At the start line at Lucasfilm in San Francisco or Pixar Studios in Emeryville: one by Bugatti Chiron, one by Amtrak train at Emeryville station, and a Southwest plane awaits at Oakland airport but to get there they must take a AC Transit bus, a public electric scooter LIME, and then subway BART. However, there's a red carpet affair awaiting with many Hollywood celebrities at the TCL Theater, who will make it before the doors close?? Which of the 3 presenters will have red carpet photos to post for their Instagram?

Swap the turbo for a supercharger, it won't have the lag, and it will sound better.
You can eliminate the lag if you dimension the turbines correctly, Ferrari's turbo engines have very little turbo lag thanks to this.
It cannot be a true lamborghini if has a V8.

Check out a channel called Build Quality Test. They poke the interiors of cars to test the tactile quality of the materials etc. Most high-end cars seem very disappointing in this regard. They creak and sound cheap. It is very interesting and hopefully something that will encourage manufacturers to step up the quality.
