  • A big year demands for a big end with two colossal classics in this collaboration of What a Wonderful World (Thiele & Weiss, 1967) and Stand by Me (King, Lieber & Stoller, 1960) - a unique arrangement (O’Brien & Pilkington, 2021) bringing healthcare workers across the globe together in song.
The RMH Scrub Choir is joined by healthcare workers from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Japan and Norway.
Hospitals around the world are all at different stages of treating, working and living with COVID-19. Throughout the Scrub Choir Plus video you’ll see staff in respirator masks, N95 masks, and some even mask free. Together, we’ve used the power of music support each other as we emerge from the pandemic across the globe. If we truly ‘stand by each other’ this can be ‘a wonderful world.’
Video directed and edited by Head of RMH Music Therapy and Scrub Choir, Dr Emma O’Brien OAM with sound production and music mix by Craig Pilkington at Audrey Studios.
