    Is there a tradition for this that you'd be kind enough to share with us? Why are there so many feet?

      I have just read the tradition behind that. It's a cute tradition for children i guess. The 7 feet are for the 7 weeks of lent "sarakosti". Every week you break one of her feet. I guess for children it's very nice to enjoy the lent with this tradition.

      It’s made from salt dough, not “cookie” dough. You don’t eat it!

    Wow - 110g salt for 300g flour...? So this is 1/3 made of salt? That seems like a lot of salt.

      I believe it's ornamental, not for eating. We used to use a similar recipe to decorate our Christmas tree.
