Oh, wow! I just found this one that I haven't watched! I have the same machine! Love it. Currently it is being serviced, so I am missing my sewing. But projects start with cutting, so that is what I am doing. Cheers.
Jean I just bought brothers q1350 with that automatic lifter the main reason I bought it. It helps me pain free! The only thing I don’t like it has no warning for Bobbie thread running low! I love this machine
Super! Quite a few machines have a 'bobbin low' warning, but not all. You would think, that they put men on the moon; can't SOMEONE figure out how to use a regular large spool of thread in the bottom/bobbin area?!?! LOL!
When it comes down to it...this lockdown/quarantine has shown us just WHAT is important!! And it's not sport, celebrity, entertainment, shopping, excess..but the LITTLE things that truly make us happy! :)
I loved my Designer 1~~~ After 22 years it bit the dust. I have the Husqvarna SE also, but I don't do embroidery anymore. Great machines those Husqvarnas!!
Very Neat! I don't have an automatic feature like that. I'm still doing the old fashioned way.😅 I'm still ever so grateful I have a machine though! Thanks Jean for your tips!!!
I have that feature on my Brother Innovis VM 5100, but don't know how to activate it. It happened by accident when I was piecing together my quilt top and sure saved a bunch of time and hassle.
I have a brother but not automatic lift...I'm appliquing dresdans I've made by hand to squares...love doing this. Yrs looks beautiful. So pretty and sweet. How do you sew so much dear. My mojo up and left me lately..Help!!! Hugs to you my friend
That is awesome! By hand?!? Oh mate, more power to you Kathy! LOL! You know me and hand sewing....:/ LOL! Some days I REALLY don't feel like sewing...or filming for that matter! And so I take a break and do some reading or needlepoint/embroidery, which I love!
Yes it is lm very lucky, l dont do much embroidery now. And l have my juki tl2010q for quilting, if l ever get it right. I think l have to just except it is going to take time
All this 'social distancing' has given me time to REALLY sew....sometimes I really don't feel like it, but with no place to go really and no one to see....my sewing machine beckons!!:)
I found a used one on Ebay www.ebay.com/p/1928329255?iid=224074318947&chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-I fo37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=224074318947&targetid=915708758100&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9007215&poi=&campaignid=10456154083&m

Beautiful blocks, you have great looking fabrics 💝
Thank you! 😊 Leftover 30's reproduction fabrics from about 13 years ago mixed with newer ones:)

That is a great feature to have. I will have to look for that next time I buy a new machine.
I just thought to mention it if anyone would be looking for features in a new machine
Thank you
Welcome!
I hope that you are getting a stipend for all these companies that you mention on your tutorials, Jean. This one, Brother Sewing machines.
I wish! LOL! But when I like a product, I do tend to shout it from the rooftops!! LOL! LOL!
I have that same machine! I bought it 7 months ago used. I love it! Huge throat area

That’s going to be a beautiful quilt Jean. God bless y’all.
And hopefully He is blessing you Vera! Keep safe and healthy and SANE!!
Jean Truelove I’m trying to stay Sane 🤣. It’s hard this staying at home is not fun.

They should make you a Brother Ambassador! 😉
Seriously! Fiskars, Martelli, Brother, Juki.....I could be their spokesperson!! :) LOL! Can you imagine that?! LOL! LOL!

You are welcome! I just thought it a good thing to mention, if anyone out there was machine shopping! :)

It's a wonderful feature! You need to get out your manual and figure it out! LOL!
