    My dad used to tell us kids about the waterspouts that kept popping up like daisies when he was in the Navy and stationed in Florida. He also told us he was NEVER EVER moving us to Florida because of these monstrosities of watery doom. Why my Aunt Ramona moved back to Florida, I will NEVER know.

      tbh idk why anyone lives in fucking Florida anymore. Even the elders which like to go and retire there for the beach. It’s just not worth the property damage risks of these natural disasters imo.

      @@IndeedGamblerSols what are you saying? the deadliest water spout is around 170 mph (quite dangerous). Also, he was probably referring to the tornado’s size, not strength. All tornadoes are dangerous, too. They bulk up quite quickly. All of your statements are yap.

      I never knew fairweathers could get THIS big, assuming your correct, but i believe that this is a tornadic waterspout, considering how far away the cameraman is from the water, and how huge the waterspout is.

      A pressure washer for example, highly pressurized water blasting out at 2,000 - 2,800 psi (gas powered models) is enough to blast/separate flesh from bone...

    My 12th birthday in august 05 we drove down from maryland to hilton head South Carolina to do some shark fishing and visit myrtle beach, we got in the charter boat went out a few miles and it went from a cloudless sunny day to a heacy overcast in minutes, and then the captain told us to turn around and about 5 600 tards Way was a huge waterspout, then and even now i was always so fascinated with tornadoes and i went crazy out of excitement

      It won't turn into a land tornado it can't. Water spouts dissipate once they hit land. They aren't made from a spinning supercell storm. Now if one of these storms forms over water it can make a tornado over water but that's not the case here.

    No spank you. I was playing golf with a friend out in Torrey Pines which is close to the ocean. Sky got dark and we look and see a big ass waterspout. I think I ran so fast my feet didn't touch the ground.
