But, take a football player with track speed, put him on a team with a top 2 QB (Mahomes, Mahomes on 1 leg), give him a football mastermind at HC, and great things are possible. The kid has a very strong football IQ. He’s not just some dummy who can run fast. If he understands his role and the role of his teammates in any situation he’s more dangerous to defend. His speed is just a bonus. The ability to read defenses and coverage is key. He’s also a Kansas City chief now and he’s gonna be working with the best coaches in the league right now (and I’m a patriots fan). I think this kid is gonna be fine. I’d he the next Devin Hester? Probably not. But time will tell.
