Robby Winning the Sekai Taikai Tournament was teased under our noses when Kreese said "You Have Even More Talent Than Your Father You Just Need To Show It To The World." In S4 E1
He also told Robby that love is a weakness in the deleted scene of season 3, but Johnny proved him wrong in the season 5 finale when his love for his family (Robby and the Diaz family) gave him the 2nd wind he needed against Silver's henchmen.
And he also said that Silver was gonna make mincemeat out of Johnny and Daniel and that didn't happen.
Oh yeah that's a good one actually 👌 and Robby never won anything yet
“Maybe someday Robby will be the one to run Cobra Kai” Kreese also said in S4 finale. He wins World and he and his dad can run Cobra Kai with plenty of people recognizing the champ. I’ve thought for a long time that is how Robby’s arc ends, him and Johnny teaching, but we will see if they keep the CK name. I’m with you Strike, time for Robby to collect the W.

Miguel. He's the most interesting character. He hasn't won a tournament since season 1. Full circle. And it would reflect his and Johnny's relationship growth.
While miguel seems like the obvious choice I can see them giving it to Robby in terms of like Robby has been runner up in both all valleys we've had in the show and it'd be nice to see johnny's blood to be the one to completely kills ck

My money's on Robby and Sam.... 80% but I just don't think how they're gonna make Miguel lose the biggest tournament in the world now that he's Miguel prime an clearly the best fighter in the show... I love Miguel and I think he just has too much plot Armor... He has technically never lost a fight since season 1 and making him lose just near the end of the show wouldn't make much sense... That is the only obstruction in Robby s path... And girls it's Sam no doubt...no way is tory winning
I think Miguel would give Robby the win by default on the semifinals because he wouldn’t want to fight Robby again and plus it fits his character now. Thus opening the door for Robby to take it all on the final with out making Miguel “lose”.. 🤔

If you score the All Valley girls final correctly, and the rules are who reaches 3 points first is the winner, then Sam is the winner and there is nothing to debate. She reached 3 points first, only that basdard of referee prevented her winning, he refused to give Sam her 2nd point. The real and neutral juding is:
1-0 Sam (Tornado kick)
1-1
2-1 Tory
2-2
3-2 Sam
Thats the way it is. And in the real world if a scenario like this would have taken place, and it gets exposed a couple weeks after the tournament, that Torys Sensei payed off the referee, the Officials of the All Valley would rescore the final and handle Sam the trophy.
That would be the standard procedure in the real world. You cant have a cheater winning, even if Tory herself didnt cheat. I can give you an example from the real world in Professional Cycling:
In 2006 American Floyd Landis won the Tour de France, but he was tested positive for Testostorone afterwards.
He got DQed and the runner up, the Spaniard Oscar Pereiro was crowns as TDF Champion 2006.
This means: The two REAL winners of the All Valley are Hawk and Samantha, the two leaders of the Miyagi-Do Dojo at that time.
This would mean Sam has her victory and she can and would be happy with it.
We saw in S5 Tory was never happy with her All Valley trophy. Silver went down in the end holding Torys (fake) trophy in his hand, i mean when Daniel KOed him with the Crane Kick. That was Torys trophy, a symbolic way that Silver goes down with his fake won trophy and his glassy Cobra Kai Symbol who gets smashed into 1000 little pieces.
So this would mean Tory has her chance to win the Sakai now, so she finally can have a trophy which she really won.
The only way to make Sam the winner of the Sekai is the All Vallley Officals order to repeat the girls final, and then Tory wins it fair and square.
This scenario would open the way for Sam to win the Sekai.
Conclusion:
1) If Sam gets crowned as AV Champion 2019 girls Champion, then Tory should win the Sekai.
2) If Tory and Sam repeat the AV girls final and TOry wins fair and square, then Sam should win the Sekai.
One of these 2 scenarios should happen, because if it wont, one of the two girls will always be sad because she didnt win anything.
Its not about plot armour. Miguel has the most experience out of every child and he started training since s1 e2. While robby did it in s1 e7. Speaking plot armour, miguel would have never been injured. Speaking plot armour kyler wouldn't have landed a hand on Miguel is s3.
Yeah i know that miguel has a clean record and never lost to any kid but that's because he actually is the best fighter among them. I think this record is clouding the fact that this show has given him the worst injury out of any ck or kk character.
Im totally cool with Robby winning the sekai takai but knowing the writers they will probably do a 360 and have Miguel win so I’m not making any predictions for the boys. Robby is just as much of a main character than Miguel is and deserves a win
I think the main character is Miguel rather than Robby. Because Miguel is the modern day of karate kid.
Miguel wins because he already won one and he needs one more to tie Johnny and Daniel to win 2 championship. He is already considered the best character in the show. The show is COBRA KAI and he is the best COBRA KAI. It's Common sense. Specially it it's the last season.
I think miguel should win since he obviously is the better fighter but this show man , has sorta done robby dirty. He made him lose 50 th all valley due to an injury and the next due to kenny. As much as they are my two least favourite characters out of the main kids I do think you are right on Sam and Robbie and whilst I'd find it disappointing personally I do think it makes most sense. It's one of those situations where I have to admit that what I want isn't what's right for the show or the story.

STRIKE FIRST MEDIA: Yeah I absolutely see this happening. I mean it just makes the most sense not because of plot (as you said as well), but just because it seems to be the most likely given on how it seems that that is where their journeys seem to be heading. In S5 Sam stated that part of the reason that she stepped away from Karate was because she felt like she was competing against Tory again (like at the All Valley) but now that she has a much clearer idea of what she’s fighting for she’s going to go above and beyond even her own expectations and most likely win the tournament. Robby it’s long overdue he needs a win as well because he’s been fighting most of his life and again not just for plot purposes but it really will bring his character into full circle and beyond that because it will open so many potential on where he can from this point forward as well close most of the doors where he felt like he wasn’t good enough

I honestly wouldnt mind Miguel winning hes literally my favourite character and the karate kid. but i want robby to win since miguel has had his time in the spotlight same with hawk. That problem would be easy to solve. Miguel can win the Sekai and follow the path of his Sensei Johnny, who was always first and foremost a tournament fighter. And Robby can win a life and death fight and follow the path of his Sensei Daniel, who s own Sensei Miyagi always wanted to use Karate to defend your life and others, not winning tournaments. Then both of them would win a big fight in the end. And the girls its either Sam or Tory, depends how the writers will handel it. Should the All Valley Officials rewatch the final and crown Sam the Champ, Tory wins the Sekai. Otherweise i think Sam wins and Tory somehow accept her All Valley trophy.
Na fam Robby and tory. Makes more sense it is robbys turn in the sunlight. And tory has not actually won she was paid to win. Sam is the one who qualified them into the Sekai Taikai. So it makes sense for Robby and Tory to win.

I think it would be awesome if they introduce Dre from the Karate Kid remake into the world tournament and make him a former champion of the world tournament and have him interact with Daniel, Johnny, Chosen and Mike Barns.

Interesting video. Honestly I think we are all getting ahead of ourselves with these predictions. Firstly we have no idea what to expect with this world tournament. Could be a whole different format,a whole new set of rules & scoring system. Expect the unexpected is my prediction. Then the fact that entries will be coming from the best the world has to offer with countries like China,Korea & Japan(these countries basically gave birth to martial arts)most likely involved with their fighters no doubt been training all their life. I'm being devils advocate I know but I'm also being a realist & part of being a realist is not to speculate or assume what may happen. Also the reality is there is no way at least not in the real world that cobra kai would meet miyagi do or whatever the new name will be in the final & I hope that doesn't happen because it wouldn't keep it real when you consider the stakes. Sure by some miracle I guess a competitor from johnny & Daniel's dojo will make the final however my prediction will be whoever that is will fight against a competitor from another country. As for this boy ,girls division well you don't know that will even exist. The problem is we are all caught up in cobra kai fever as I am I admit & therefore we are not looking at the bigger picture we are all thinking with our hearts & our gut. So there is my thoughts Thankyou.
Of course there will be a boys/girls division. All international competitions do that IN REAL LIFE. Why would this be any different?

I think I can Speak for all the robby funs out there it be the best W that will make up for all the Defeats he been thought since being in CK and in my opinion I say another thing that can make his win much more meanable is that he also takes over CK and robby and tory will run it for how it help them at their worst moment.

I’m hoping for more of a team aspect this tournament, so we don’t have to have another Sam and Tory and Miguel and Robby fight. Maybe they’re fighting together for the team championship. Then everyone can have their part in the win and it’s different from the all valley in some way.

Miguel already won the All Valley Tournament (I'm also happy about that) he won the school fight and the rematch in S5 and he is soon going to college. What I'm trying to say is that the show did everything to please your fanboyism. Let Robby who lost two times win this one. This kid had to quit from school his job and lost two tournaments. He deserves this win

Robby won that school fight regardless of how he went about it…. In a real fight the winner is whoever is standing not the person that’s knocked out or can’t stand and also Robby won that prom fight so that’s 2 wins right there and Miguel beat Robby in season 1 and season 5 so they are 2-2 tied and don’t even mention hawk because Robby beat hawk in season 1 even if it was a DQ it still count as a W and also Robby beat hawk in season 2 in the mall fight and would of beaten hawk again in season 4 if he ain’t get all conflicted last minute before the fight so Robby literally has a 2-1 win record against hawk overall
But don't forget that in season 2 Robby defeated Miguel because Miguel showed mecy. If he chose to break his arm he would be the winner.

Fight 1, All Valley 2018:
Robby is the better and more balanced fighter. He gets injured by Hawk, and in the final Miguel can only win by fighting unfair, using an unfair advantage.

Fight 2, school fight:
This time Miguel is the better and more balanced fighter. He has basically won, but shows mercy, and Robby used an unfair advantage too.
Winner: Robby
Fight 3, prom fight:
Robby dominates Miguel, he is full of anger. Before it becomes a couple fight, Robby has the upperhand.
Winner: Robby
Fight 4, appartment fight:
On the ground floor it's very even, slightly Robby is better, in the first floor Miguel is better and wins.
Winner: Miguel
Overall: 2-2
Sam vs Tory:
Fight 1) School fight:
Even if Sam has the last kick and kicks Tory over the railing. Tory was still fine and could have continiue, while Sam was mentally shattered and broken. She suffered a trauma and cried like a baby.
Winner: Tory
Fight 2) LaRusso house fight:
First unarmed, Tory has the upperhand. But Sam fights her demons and wins. Then they fight Bo vs Nunchaku, when Sam gets the upperhand and wins.
Winner: Sam
Fight 3) All Valley 2019:
Since the referee was payed off by Silver, the fight is a no contest. Playing by the rules, Sam reached 3 points first and was technically the correct winner. But the payed off referee is basically cheating.
Winner: Nobody, its a "no contest".
Overall: 1-1-1 (1 win Tory, 1 win Sam, 1 no contest).
So it's all very close.
(This is just a theory) I think something will happen to Robby in session 6 which will have Miguel fight even stronger and win the Sami takai for Robby

As much as I love Miguel. I think it will probably be Robby he came close to winning twice but he lost to both Miguel and Hawk. Miguel in the season 1 finale and Hawk in the season 4 finale. Season 6 should be his time for glory

I understand his argument for robby but think miguel should win. Not only did the series start with him he also broke his back went through hard times with Daniel and Johnny due to his lack of a father and once he found his real dad he got the answers. Remember in season three he says he "needs to prove he can win again" he has that true champion mentality whereas robby doesn't. I feel like robby should win an all valley before the big leagues. Don't get me wrong I love robby as a character but in my opinion miguel winning would be huge for him considering his back (plus him being nerfed in season 4)
If tory doesn't enter I think the reason is how far she have to leave her family and another way to make up for it is she trains robby to help his and Her sake to win against kim and CK.

I agree Robby should take it but first his dad must teach him how to breathe. Johnny being new to the internet finds clips from a old movie "Remo Williams the adventure begins" And seeing how Kenny was so easally able to defeat Hawk and Robby with the punch Terry taught him, He is having Meguil and Demetri stand on Robby's and Hawk's chest as they breathe to build up their lung strength. Just the way Master Chuin did with Remo in the movie.
I agree about Robby, but not Sam. Sam has never really lost a fight to Tory, so I dont see why she needs to win here. Winning the Sekai Tekai also means much more for Tory than it does for Sam. And I think it would be perfect to have Tory use Miyagi-do lessons to win. She is the kid that needs Miyagi-Do the most, and it would be a beautiful middle finger to Kreese by beating Cobra Kai using Miyagi-Do. She would achive her dream by winning something big fair, and become a more honourable version of what Mike Barnes was. I think it would be boring to have every non-champion win, however I think it would be more on theme to have every champion being a former Cobra Kai student. I get that people want The Karate Kid’s daughter to win, but both season 4 and 5 established that Sam dosent wanna be seen as «Laruso 2.0» and is mostly using karate to find balance
Ive just read your comment and i like your explanation! I dont know what is going to happen, but to make all fans happy, there is a way to give Miguel, Sam, Robby and Tory a big final and let all of them shine in the final Season.

If there is a boys and girls division, it could be like this:

Wins the Sekai Taikai boys division, beating Daeun s best male student, a real killer and the match will be epic.
Then the show would go back to the roots. Sensei Johnny and his student Miguel are winning a tournament together, a world tournament, basically Miguel becomes world champion. And he uses a CK technique from Johnny to take the final point.
Samantha:
The All Valley Officials know now about Silver s cheating. They DQ Tory and crown Sam as the girls winner. Tory handles her the trophy, like Johnny handled the trophy to Daniel in 1984, and then those two burry her rivalry once and for all.
Contrary to Tory, Sam really could be and would be happy about the trophy. Since she rewatchted the final in Season 5 and didnt understand why she lost. She would be very happy about that trophy. Tory never was, she knew it was tainted, and she never felt she really won it.
From a realistic standpoint, it would be very strange if the All Valley Officials still list T. Nichols as the 2019 girls Championesse when they all know now Silver payed off the referee. That would be very unrealistic.
Tory:
Wins the Sekai Taikai girls division, beating one of Daeun s killer girls. Daeun hates Tory and makes her girl to hurt Tory with ilegal attacks. Tory will get hurt very much in this fight. Daeun does the same with Silver and Kreese did with Barnes against Daniel, telling her to punish and hurt the traitor Tory.
And Tory wins because she uses all what she learned, she remeinds when Kreese told her "you are a born natural fighter", and she fights back, with brute force CK style from Kreese. But she also gets some help and advice from her rival Sam.
It would be so iconic if Tory uses Kreeses CK teachings to beat a "Way of the Fist" student of Daeun.
Remember the prom dance:
Tory, in a very emotional moment, confiding to Robby how much she want to win. How much she wants to be one time the best at something.
If she doesnt win this world tournament, this scene would be completely for nothing.
Hawk:
His arc is done. He is the All Valley 2019 Champion and nobody will ever take this away from him. He doesnt need any mojor win in S6 anymore.
Robby:
Remember KK2 trailer: "No more tournaments. No more cheering crowds. This time the combat is real."
This is missing since the CK show started. A 1-1 life to death battle among the teenagers, and i mean between high skilled teenagers, not like the wild school brawl.
I saw some things even in Season 2 which are overlooked by many fans, which are maybe a foreshadowing for this. There is a reason why the writers made Robby Daniel s student and not Miguel. And Miyagi never liked tournaments in the first place.
So maybe Robby survives a 1-1 life and death encounter, like Daniel did against Chozen.
In Season 2 Episode 1 Robby finds the drum, and Daniel say: "Carefull, that drum saved my life".
Since then i thought: Is it not possible the drum will save Robbys life later too?
The writers like these games.
Rosa Diaz to Johnny: "Dont make Carmen pregnant". Now she is pregnant.
Billy Zabka stated once how he had a final conversation with Pat Morita. Pat stated he thinks about Johnny very often, and he could imagine when Miyagi dies, Johnny will be his doctor.
So this shows Pat Morita also liked Johnny Lawrence. Of course since he passed away there is no chance anymore to make this happen, but they do have a chance to do something which would make all fans from back in the day - including the actors - very happy:
That in the end of all of this, a technique from Miyagi-Do Karate saves the life of Johnny s son. That would be like a closing cirle, and i am sure not just Billy Zabka but Pat Morita would both love that scenario so much.
But we will see...
I wont say it will happen like this, its all speculative, but in this or a similar case, no fan can really be sad, because all the kids would have their great moment. And i am very sure the writers and show creators of the Corba Kai show want all fans of all main characters to be happy in the end.

I think it is going to be Demetri. Both of the tournament winners (Miguel and Hawk) were bullied and part of the trio of friends. Plus they were also the underdog.
Dimitri skills is not gonna be enough to take on the people in the tournament in season six if he’s fighting a tough opponent he might win some tournament fights but if he’s if we’re talking about a real dangerous threat, he’s not gonna stand a chance

Here's what I think what's gonna happen to Robby in season 6. While Miguel and Robby are getting use to the fact that they're going to be brothers and getting ready for senkai takai, Robby begins to have doubts about himself and his motivation of doing karate. After his last fight with Miguel (and after hearing his motivation to karate) Robby will begin to realize that the only reason he got into karate was to get back at johnny and that lead him down a dark path which involves lying to Sam about the medal of honor, putting Miguel in the hospital, ending up in juvie, and joining Cobra Kai. But it wasn't until he met Kenny and took him under his wing that Robby began to have a strong sense of hope. Until kreese got into Robby's head just like he did his father years ago and put "Passion in front of Principle" which led to Kenny to becoming a bully. Robby had decided to drop out of the senkai takai and take a break from karate. Daniel, Sam, and Tory will try to convince Robby to reconsider but to no avail. The only person who can get through to Robby was Johnny. Johnny invited Robby to join Eagle Fang. Robby reluctantly trains with Johnny and Miguel. It was difficult at first, but eventually Robby was able to get through to most of the training and is finally able to feel free from all the troubles in his life thanks to Johnny and Miguel. Thanks to his Eagle Fang Training, Robby uses these new found skills to get through to Kenny which will promote him to make amends with Anthony.
I really hope Robby wins the senkai takai cause throughout five seasons, Robby really needs a win and training with Johnny and Miguel in Eagle Fang could be the only thing that could help Robby get through to his situation.
I like that very much and i guess at least some of your points could be true. I like to add what i think could happen in Season 6:
A nice gesture would be if the All Valley Officials declare Sam as the legit Champion for the 2019 girls competition, and Tory handles her the trophy, like Johnny handled Daniel the torphy after his loss in 1984.
You can slice it around as much you want, with a fair referee this match is to score like this:
1-0 Sam
1-1
2-1 Tory
2-2
3-2 Sam (and the winner is Sam)
Only the payed off referee was the reason Tory won 3-2 in the end. So it would only be fair and right to declare Sam as the official Champion now in Season 6.
And if Tory wins the Sekai Taikai then, fans from both will be happy, because both girls won a tournament.
I give you my 2 cents why i think Robby wont win the Sekai Taikai. Maybe i am a little too old (40), but i see many younger guys are so obsessed now that Robby must win this Sekai Taikai tournamnet, since he was now twice the runner up in the All Valley tournament.
Honestly: Must he win this ST tournament? I say no! I have a gut feeling either Hawk or Miguel will win it, maybe Robby wont even compete in it. I guess there is a limit for one team, and since most probably Miguel, Robby, Hawk, Sam, Tory and maybe Devon will be in one team, and only 2 boys and 2 girls can compete in it (maybe Devon in a division for younger girls like Kenny for younger boys), i could imagine very well Robby wants Hawk and Miguel fighting for the title, and for the girls Sam and Tory.
Never forget: Robby is now in the direct lineage of Mr. Miyagi. He was to this day Daniel s only one-on-one student. Sure Sam was it too, but Daniel never teached Sam in dept like he trained Robby.
And what did Mr. Miyagi said about tournamnets and trophys? He dislked them. He said Karate is to defend your life, not to defend a trophy or winning points in a tournament.
And yes, this is missing to this day in Cobra Kai. A bloody life and death encounter with no rules, like Daniel vs Chozen in Okinawa in 1985.
Robby told Kreese in the beginning of S4 he gives a sh.. about a damn trophy, maybe a foreshadowing he will never win one.
I think Miguel and Tory will win the Sakai Taikai.
Miguel because he didnt win the All Valley in S1 fair, he fought unfair against Robby, so he can have a fair win too, and its fair to say he is in totality the best among the teenys.
And Tory because she wants to win a trophy so much.
And the Officials from the All Valley will maybe gift the All Valley trophy to Sam since she was the real winner, they gonna rewatch the final and the score is 3-2 Sam, so Sam will be crowned as All Valley Champion 2019 girls division.
My thoughts (not theories, only thoughts):
Miguel will be All Valley Champ 2018 and Sekai Taikai Champ 2019 boys division,
Hawk and Sam will be the All Valley Champs 2019,
Tory will be the Sekai Taikai Champ 2019 girls divisioin,
Robby will never win a trophy.
But he will get involved into a life and death encounter, and using Karate like Mr Miyagi wanted it, to defend your own life. And his opponent will be some evil teeny which we havent seen yet, a complete brutal and violent guy who fights only for (misunderstood) honor like Chozen back in the day, and Robby does something unwillingly so the guy feels dishonored by him and he wants to kill Robby because of that, or something like that.
With these results fans from all 5 characters (Miguel, Robby, Hawk, Sam, Tory) will be happy.

imo there should not be another tournament. We have already had that. I don't want the finale to be another tournament. Make the Sekai Takai like a mid season event where cobra kai wins and then the stakes get setup for a big finale.
I think the tournament will be episode 7-8ish and then have 2 episodes after where something dramatic happens

I like sam to win for sure 1000% she created her own style of fighting and she evolved like crazy. If it wasn’t for a cheating it would be one sided. I think Devon will be strong tho given how many years went by. The plot will give her armor since she is the only villain girl left most likely.
For the boys Robby with same explanation as you but a part of me says Miguel since he is no doubt the best and he was not able to finish the fight against hawk. Got injured etc. kenny might be strong since him and devon are the main bullies or a twist kenny’s older brother.
as much as robby grew on me these past 2 seasons and as much as i would like to see him win, i think it’s pretty obvious that season 6 will be the final season and it just wouldn’t be fitting to have anyone but miguel win since he’s the kid we started this journey with and the reason every other character has started karate if u really think about it. especially when u consider that he fought dirty in season one and hasn’t fully achieved his “rise” from his injury yet. u could also argue that robby’s character arc has been achieved. robby’s arc was never about being the best fighter it was about finding a purpose in life and finding a family to be part of. now he has a brother in miguel, a step mom, his mom is back from rehab, a sibling on the way, and he’s fixed his relationship with his father. i definitely do think it should be miguel who wins
