  • Gaslighting isn’t just a different opinion! 🔍
It’s when someone knows you’re right but still tries to make you doubt yourself to manipulate your thinking 🧠.
For example, if they say, 'You’re just making things up,' despite knowing the truth, they're intentionally trying to make you question your reality.
Let’s dive into how to spot this subtle form of manipulation and keep the term gaslighting clear! 🚨

it comes down to HOW it is phrased. If someone says “no, THIS happened” while referring to an argument, that is gaslighting. but saying “our argument made me feel and think THIS way” when referring to a situation, that’s not. If someone only believes there is one side to an argument, and cannot separate their opinion from the fact that you have a different perspective, that’s gaslighting and they’re trying to manipulate you. It doesn’t matter if it is intentional or not. If you are in a situation where someone is treating you like this, then think about your emotional and physical safety around them. If they can’t see you as a person with your own perspective, and are blinded by conflict, that’s never ok.
