What a great day you had !!! Great video kamracie again 💪🏼😉 very educational! I like it! I see we both like to use the same pike lures 👊 looking forward for next video from my favourite youtuber 😉 cheers!
Thank you sire! 😃😃 really awesome to have supporters like yourself lad. Good to hear you find the same lures working for you, great to have the confidence in your stuff! all the best lad
Enjoyed the video bud. Really sorry about the delay in sending those flies to you mate. I will have them to you in next few days. Was working on a few new things for you to try out 👍
Great video buddy was out today on a small lake using the same lures in your video and caught 6 small to medium jacks but I didn’t know that small paddle tails and jerk baits were best for this time of year thanks for the tips 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks Darren. Good fishing, they're active just before the spawning. Yes, late summer to winter it's all about the large lures, but smaller will often outfish them early spring... Had days when nothing on the large lures and 20s to small jerks!
Cheers Damon, it's not quite like that with Bass. They don't hold in one location but move all the time. What you want is ideally shallow ground, 2-3m is what I'd opt for. Over shallow reefs, not far from beaches. You'll see abundance of good spots on Google maps, using the satelite view. The problem is not the location but putting the time in to find them when the conditions are good and at the right state of the tide. The experience is fun tho, enjoy it 👍
Very informative and a pleasure watching you enjoy so much your chosen sport. Great to see how much your fly fishing skills have been increasing in leaps and bounds.
Where is this if you can say? Also I'm looking to start pike and salmon fishing and I was wondering if you knew anywhere in Waterford? Also what is a good fly combo to start with for pike/salmon?
They're two completely different species and very different gear is needed. You'll find tackle info in the descriptions of my vids. Blackwater, Bandon are two salmon rivers not far from you
thank you very much Stefan, the costas are Tuna Alley, also use Fantail. depends on the conditions and time of the year but hammer pro from dragon, miuras mouse, salmo slider all great lures. I do like browny / gold colour but I don't think the colour matters that much
Great video, I love this style of fishing on a tube. How do you find places that allow all methods and also allow tubing? I live near to so many trout fisheries but they only allow fly fishing and it costs a small fortune.
Thanks Marcin. Heading out for a pike session on Saturday. I will keep your tips in mind and give the jerkbaits and paddletails a good bash. Thanks again. Tight lines!
Marcin, I am curious to understand why you are using a fly rod and reel to catch the Pike, rather than the usual fixed spool and lure rod? What benefits are there? I am guessing you are using some sorted weighted fly lure at the start?
Using all sort of methods John, in this video I'm on fly but also small and large lures. It's for fun, that's all. Each pike feels twice as large on the fly rod and the take and the fight are awesome 😊 it's all getting more personal lol and a 20lb pike on the fly is a nice target.
Ah Marcin, I was doing so well with my studies but how can I not watch this immediately! 😂
I'm so very sorry 😊😊 I guess as long as you go back to studying and won't go fishing that should be OK...
