      it's probably because these kind of vehicles are rare in places like Sweden, they would have their own type of common work vehicles which are abused, vehicles like this are probably a special import and so the people who own them take especially good care of them, whereas in America these were the work vehicles which were abused.
      in my country, this would also be a rare find and so it would probably be in good condition, our common work vehicle are toyota hiluxes for the most part, you see a lot of those that are in really bad shape because people abuse the hell out of them.

    • @evencron2537
      @evencron2537 3 года назад +5

      Hey, looks like hes not answering. I own a dodge in norway. Its quite easy to find parts online. But kinda expencive to ship. Steeringbox from summit racing cost "double" because of not being able to send stuff back for core charge and so on.
      But it worth it.

    • @Leatherkid01
      @Leatherkid01 3 года назад +1

      @@evencron2537 ah yes the dreaded core charge... well being in Canada, I too don’t send stuff back for core .... but for non performance stuff.... Rockauto also sends internationally I think .... and some stuff don’t have a core charge . See if they send to you

    I have a question. Why do you shift at such low rpm

    • @aternateus5835
      @aternateus5835 2 года назад +7

      Probably several reasons
      1 not going fast
      2 fuel consumption
      3 diesel make alot of tourqe at low rpm

    • @elcheapo5302
      @elcheapo5302 Год назад +1

      The limit on that engine is 3000RPM. It's a full sized bus engine in a pickup truck, it's very under stressed and has huge amounts of torque just off idle. Really no need to go above 2000RPM unless you just want to hear the sound it makes.

  • @leoweber3629
    @leoweber3629 6 лет назад +9

    You shift wayyy too early and take too long to shift, it’s killing your clutch, shift after 1900 rpm and try to match rpm or shift faster

    • @Raggesvenne
      @Raggesvenne  6 лет назад +36

    • @RoastFlea61
      @RoastFlea61 4 года назад +5

      Shifting faster puts wear on your clutch even more, cause the rpms don’t have time to drop to match the next gear

    • @Jon-O.
      @Jon-O. 4 года назад +2

      FYI the shift point with factory clutch is 1600 to 1800. As you let clutch out it will be at 1200 rpm which also happens to be where top torque production is between 1200 to 1800. If you want to consistently shift between 2000 to 2400 you must use a dual disc clutch.

    • @leoweber3629
      @leoweber3629 4 года назад +3

      jon O tell that to your KDP, low revs tend to rattle shit around much more, I’ve seen multiple KDPs get knocked loose from idiots who think they’re driving a big rig, shifting at >2000rpm
