Well depends really😁😁 I'm a college student.. the only thing I don't like College are Professors/teachers that is cold and strict and pretty much challenges his/her students how good they are to pass his sub... Seems like I would bleed my brains out studying here in college. College here is survive and have decent high grades... If you don't have decent to high grades.. pretty much you'll be having a hard time looking for a job here. Also your teacher expect you to be responsible enough to pass your Project/assignments on time. They aint gonna buy your lies and excuses. If it's not valid to their judgement. So pretty much College is more demanding and probably makes you stress in that kind of area.
I hate everyone who says “highschool is not the best years of your life, college is way better”. It all depends on what you went through in each one. I’m a senior in college and I much preferred highschool. Now I do have to factor in Covid happening with pretty much half of my college career but even before that I enjoyed highschool more because I didn’t have to worry about so much
Me who was planning to graduate high school early and only to realize that my country's highschool take 6 years, and was also planning to laze around for a few months after graduating: Goddammit-
Nah highschool were the best years for me. Subjects were easy, dont have to stay up all night just to finish a deadline, no shitty professors and had the most social interaction ive had more than in college. Life was way more simple and fun
I was depresso and unliving mood for the last 3 years of hs life and everyone said i'm just lazy. Finished hs and miraculously happy again. Conclusion, it sucks for me--
“You don’t know what to expect”… That’s why I preffer highschool, much simpler, interesting and better years of my life in general. Sadly Covid took it away by the end…
I actually enjoy the freedom that college brings. Sure, I have to worry about way more things but the ability to do things that I wouldn't normally be able to do is pretty rad.
It feels so refreshing to have someone say “high school is not the best four years of your life” because everyone says quite the opposite. People keep telling me how high school is the best time of my life and college and work life will be much much worse. Truth is, high school is miserable for me so having to think that it only gets worse from here doesn’t feel the best but videos like these that say college is better give me a little more hope for after high school.
In secondary school (or high school) a girl in my year was the niece of James Corden and he gave us a video call in assembly from his talk show set in America 🥰
In my "freshman week" (a week where you meet your classmates, get to know the university and do some fun activities) we were asked to plant some bushes in the garden of the lab building, so we went to the building and started digging the floor to plant the bush, suddenly someone hit something hard with the shovel and the water started coming out of the ground:) in my first week we had already broken a water pipe. So indeed, you don't know what to expect every day in college.
Although im a sixth year student, i still like watching youre videos. It gives me motivation to study harder. Im really hoping to get to the Cambridge university in the future
i sometimes get so weirded out when i discover that more than 50 people in one room is considered crowded in most countries. i live in india, we have, at minimum, 240 students per batch(for schooling) and in most cases, pre primary, elementary, and high school are in the same huge ass building. so just go 240*12=2880 students in one building,(excl kids in pre primary, faculty and school staff), every day, 5 days a week. (pre covid)
If we’re talking about famous people’s kids, my brother goes to school with makaile shadix, jacoby shadix’s kid, and they’re on the lacrosse team with each other
Jaden prolly on Twitter like “It was quite the humbling, yet insightful experience to learn about the periodic table and different elements and compounds at MIT” Professor is like “Bro wtf are you talking about we were covering molecular orbital theory 😐”
My craziest story: I was 3 wondering around my house, I walked into the living room and tripped. My head landed on the fireplace and my head cracked open, in half. Thankfully my dad was a doctor and got equipment to stitch it back together. True story!!!
In our school They released like 5 projects Yes the deadlines were different But having the stress of 5 projects at the same time is giving me a migraine everyday
man, seeing the comments being split on whether high school or college is better makes me wonder what my college experience would be like. for now, secondary school is cool, things are simple and life is a blissful rainbow
Can't wait to leave highschool. Just 3-4 more years man, btw to those who are confused. In my country (Philippines) doesn't have a middle school, once you get to 7th grade you're already in (junior) highschool.
During college years i was struggling to keep my eyes open during lecture during exams i studied 16 hours per day to only have good rate i didnt have rest only 15 minutes per 7 hours unless i skip class which i didn't our exams is out our lectures the subjects itself involved a lots of exams part so the grades are lost between them The college was nightmare
