      Hey! I’m having the same issue with my 2016 Kia Sorento. Everything that I’ve read says the engines are crap! My Kia is paid off and the last thing I want to do is get a car payment with price of the vehicles right now. Did you have any luck with trying anything else?

    Thank you a lot man, this is helpful, you are the only guy who have the same exact engine like mine, been searching youtube and there is nothing.
    I only found you when I searched using Arabic!
    Anyway, I would suggest changing the title of your video to something like ( 2016 kia optima 2.4 L pcv valve location & replacement) so your video show for ppl when they search

    You have all the symptoms of the engine knock issue, Kia replaced my engine and I had a friend who was the second owner get a replacement as well. Kia will take care of this, but you need to bring it back or go to a different dealer. I had a little oil in my intake, but I am not burning oil like you are. I am installing a new pvc valve because I found a little oil inside the intake hose while adjusting the wastegate. Supposedly, this should be the fix.

    • @JustinG9698
      @JustinG9698  2 года назад

      We kept getting the run around from the dealers in our area so we just ended up taking a little loss and traded out of it. We came out a little better in the end but it sucks because we loved this car!

      @@vinnypirro8344 yeah I still don’t know what the overall issue was with ours. We just couldn’t afford a payment for a vehicle that was stationary. Just took the loss and moved on. It will make a great deal for a mechanic that has the knowledge and money to fix it though.

      Hey Richard, did your PVC valve work for your oil leak? I have the same problem with mine 2018 Sorento. Dealership had a recall but it didn't apply to me because I wasn't the original owner. And they never even mention PVC Valve. I'm going to try replacing mine.

      @the1bud no, it didn't . I took my vehicle to the dealership. I got it from they confirmed it is burning excessive oil. I'm currently doing an oil consumption test through the dealership. I have to drive 1,000 miles. Thank god for having an extended warranty through them.

      I am the second owner of my 2017 Kia Sorento. I bought it with a mileage of 80,000. I drove it for more than a month and it was out of warranty after driving 2,000 miles. Then I found that it was burning oil and I started to have a headache. Then after another month, there was a problem with acceleration. I checked the intake motor and replaced it. After driving it for 10,000 miles, the CVVT fault code P0010 appeared. I replaced the sensor and timing wheel. I am so confused. I have never had a car that gave me such a headache. This car is the beginning of a nightmare.
