    In example 1 ane example 2 the question are almost same
    In que 1 you said m is not equal to x bar and in que 2 you said m < x bar.
    Que 1 states m > x bar therefore why not use a one tailed test.
    Can you please clear my doubt.

    when to use t test when to z test how to determine

      Z test are used with known standard deviation and sample size > 30.
      T test are used with Unknown standard deviation and sample size < 30.

    Sir how do I know it is 2 tailed test

      A two-tailed test will test both if the mean is significantly greater than x and if the mean significantly less than x.

      Two tailed test tells you that you're finding the area in the middle of a distribution
