Imagine if LP released a 3D RPG adventure game, and while you play, during fights, walks and cutscenes, your hear all the demos fitting perfectly for each part of the game, and in the end, especially in the credits part, you hear only Chester's voice singing.
Coal would fit for a 2D view from above game where you go through dungeons, collecting something from chests, going through a labirinth and fighting monsters, but many of their demos have that lofi vibe and heavy guitars which I absolutely love and also would fit for games. Unfortunate is one of my favorites and some demos I forgot the names of. (Sorry, if this comment seems a little scattered)
Dude..I can’t begin to express how much I love this instrumental, the first time I heard it was on lpu 10 and it brought me back to being 6-7 years old again with the Meteora landscapes and sounds made here…that occasional chime synth boosts my serotonin, making me happy. even if the song is dated… it doesn’t really feel that way..this almost sounds timeless
I don't know why Mike hasn't gone back and put vocals on all these, most people haven't heard of them he could easily come out with a "new" legit album full of them
I bet there isn't any chester vocals or Chester's vocals are heavily unfinished for most of these demos, and I highly doubt Mike would wanna sing these demos without chester. I don't blame him
@@thiefamongu3857 Losing Chester was a really sad thing, I wouldn't blame him if that's how he felt. Probably doesn't want to appear like he's taking advantage of the situation either, people out there say too many hurtful things. But if you ask me, putting his vocals on LP at it's best is a great way to revive and honor Chester at the same time. The fans just want good music, it's almost a lost genre at this point and I think there's more good in exploring this than doing nothing
@@chea7z913 I agree with that too, it's bit of a shame to have these awesome instrumentals with no vocals but honestly it's miracle we are getting these at all so I'll take it
I guess this was supposed to be like Session in the original release. It's cool to see how much they experimented with different stuff before the final product.
I have a feeling this might be a Session demo, this is one of my favorites love this to death wish it was longer can't get enough of it, creates an awesome vibe and makes me think about a lot
I remember that time when Meteora was initially released, and that DVD came out - The making of Meteora. There were some demos like this one. And now I hear this one as well. And I wondered then and now - what was in Mikes head when he wrote this kind of sad stuff!?
Same. I bought Meteora not when it was released but in 2008 and I watched the dvd that was part of the album. So many unreleased music was in it. But tbf I don't think this is sad
i interpret the instrumental as a vibe of melancholy and sadness, it fits the title...also the fact that we lost a great voice in this world is kinda...unfortunate...
I can't say enough about these demo's I get so emotional in a good way Pure genius .. This one is so mellow and beautiful .. I can hear a lot of what became their sound I treasure every second ❤❤
I wonder if with how we can do things with AI today, if everyone agrees with it, if they would be able to bring chester's voice to these songs with new lyrics via those AI methods. I'm sure it would be a success
Com essas demos e possível ver que os cara estavam a frente do tempo. Uma musica de 2002 com similaridade aos trabalhos que fizeram em 2010 ATS e 2012 LT 🇧🇷❤ LP ❤🇧🇷
I strongly dislike the fact that the music video was made by using A.I. but that being said, the music is still a banger and let's be honest, that's the main thing.
I kinda like it, better than just a stationary backdrop. They just released like 70 or so songs that didn't previously have a video (only the album and Meteora 20 singles and Live in Texas had original video), it would be impossible to make a normal video for them all. HT20 had a similar thing, a picture with soundwaves on top of it. I'd say this is a step up (no pun intended).

*ah mann... its masterpiece.*
Still one of my favorite LP demos ever even after over 10 years since its initial release
20 years you mean? 😯
@@thatjdmfd nope, it was previously released on LPUX :)
@@DennisRadaelli Damn! didn't know that! I stand corrected. I agree, it's a really good demo. 🙌
I remember this song playing on LP's facebook game at the time called Recharge, I didn't realise it was from Meteora
@@thatjdmfd LP underground got exclusive access to this back then lol
It sounds like session but with different vibes. Its relaxing

All these domes can be turned into finished songs, and into an album!
All these demos are so good it’s impossible to have a favourite!

This needs lyrics, too good to not have them! You can almost imagine them in your mind Chester are Mike
LPUX, esta sin duda la mejor intro del álbum muero de ganas para cuando What We Dont't Know sea lanzado oficialmente:')))))
Y Pretend to Be también. Temazos.
Va a haber más? OuO
This is a 2002 demo, but it sounds like it was released yesterday by Suiside Boys.Linkin Park is geniuses.
Sounds like a mix of Akira Yamaoka and Pitchshifter, if you know you know

This one was always a quintessence of Linkin Park magic to me
