    • @cyberhawks774
      @cyberhawks774 2 года назад +10

      @@Drew-wf9bg not induction. Essentially an apple MacBook grounds the motherboard to the case as well as through your power cable. It’s designed to used the third prong in a plug for the charger (assuming you have the extended cable), but if you don’t have one and if the air and your skin is dry enough it will conduct into you when there’s nowhere else for charge that needs to escape to go. The charge is tiny, but it’s like a little vibration feeling. MagSafe chargers for the iPhone will almost always do this. In a dry environment run a finger lightly across the metal backing, you’ll feel it.

    • @jackgenewtf

    The laptop sensation Lew is experiencing is something I’ve dealt with every Mac I’ve had since 2015. The cause is that apple grounds its circuits to the case in case of a discharge. This shouldn’t occur if your grounding wire in a home is solid, but it still can. You’d be surprised how many plugs aren’t great in homes when we think they are. It happens particularly in dry air most often for me, which since I’m in Colorado is pretty often. MagSafe chargers for iPhone literally almost always do it. You can replicate it in a dry environment by running a pointer finger across the metal back lightly. It’s nothing to worry about though, very small current, just weird at first.

    • @techfranzi
      @techfranzi 2 года назад

      For your Mac, If you get the thee prong Apple extension cord for the charger it has a ground prong on it which will also take care of the buzz you are feeling on the case.

They do that to 1. offer better recommendations 2. earn money. They need to earn money somehow. They can’t just offer services for free. Ads also support other businesses to grow. If you want to stop other companies from knowing more about you, you can pay RUclips some money to buy RUclips premium. Which would mean more privacy for you. Now you probably won’t leave RUclips, so you will have to support RUclips either by paying or selling your data. Unfortunately greed for money is omnipresent. And if you deny them money for services, I think that is equivalent to piracy of paid software.
      Idk why people hate companies collecting data. Rather people should voice against leaks of personally identifiable data. And any such leak should result in largest possible fine for the negligent company. Laws should ensure leaks shouldn’t happen, and that, despite the data collection, no individual or government or organisation should have access to people’s data to personally identify and know about us. The reason why privacy has been so popular lately is because there’s going to be big legislation that reveals a lot. All these big companies control the data used for advertising, which translates into more money.s It’s hurting smaller businesses. They don’t
    have this same kind of access which for years now it’s been hurting the economy. these big companies all work together so whether you’re on Google or Facebook‘s platform, you’re going to know about the major car manufacturers, the major, fast food, players & so forth. Eventually, they’re going to have to make this data more publicly available and we’re just seeing the start of it. that’s why privacy is a conversation cause companies want to keep their users data private so they wouldn’t be legally inclined to have to give it up. The data is worth more than money.

    Nothing in life is free. If something is handed to you for free from a company, bet your butt you’re paying somehow somewhere. Usually with your data.

    You should totally stop using any app under meta’s frame. People need to just get out of everything if they want their privacy

    Can't apple just stop them from tracking keystrokes and passwords they control the software and hardware and feasibly should be able to encrypt things like the keystrokes, then for a website to access things like that it would have to ask for the decryption key

    Come on it’s Facebook, I unno can’t see this as a mistake. It’s how they operate. They need data, the machine just needs more data.

    Get a Huawei phone very liberating. You can put anything on it and US tech stalking is nonexistent. Getting a laptop next and Windows goes away too.
