After his performance in Bram Stoker's Dracula, the fact that Keanu could go on to be taken serious in real Hollywood roles is a bit of an achievement. Being able to tap back into the goofiness of Ted ‘’Theodore’’ Logan so easily after 30 years should be considered one too.
Vlad Drac did u ever see rivers edge and permanent record ? Their one of his early films from the 80s he plays a Ted like character in those while being serious at the same time bc they were dramas but if u ask me he balanced goofy and dramatic pretty well.

I'm really confident that they would not have decided to create this movie unless they felt really good about the script. I trust their judgment. This is definitely not a greedy cash grab to fulfill nostalgia. They came up with a clever story and decided to share it with us. They are confident enough that the audience will love it, otherwise they wouldn't have mentioned it at all. Good vibes

Just watched this and was taken by surprise how everything worked. Nice seeing Winters and Reeves back together again. The daughters were excellently casted. The story was great, and it does bring a warmness and comforting feeling that is needed due to our current circumstances. Great laughs. .

Absolutely loved it! I did a Zoom movie night with my best friend of 25 years, and we both had a most excellent time! Definitely the movie we all needed right now. How wonderful it is that it just happens to be a great and heartfelt Bill and Ted movie...

The writers of Bogus Journey didn't do the end credits headlines in that movie. They did what they could to tie those up during the Face the Music, including calling the daughters little Bill and little Ted. It's a stretch, but I personally gave it a pass.
I can't wait to see it now. Was worried that they would be going the same way as recent remakes/sequels and make bill and ted side characters in their own movie and make the girls the main characters. The writers explanation to why they gender swapped them did make sense saying they originally tried to write them as boys but just felt they were repeating the same story and jokes as the first 2. My interest now is how they are going to explain away the ending of bogus journey as in the end montage they achieved writing the song that saves the world.
