Your breathing technique is sweet. Do people usually realize how important that is?

Yeah Sifu, this is exactly what I learned at Bucksam Kong Siu Lum Pai Utah. It takes, maybe five years before you begin to learn this? Good stuff

Sending my best regards to the bucksam Kong School. Hey thanks for watching and reaching out. Tid Sin historically has always been the final form one usually learns. All my best..

This is great work and you took time to do it and not rush through
I wish my Hung Kuen lineage taught this; however, they do not so I haven’t learned it. I have Sanchin though from Okinawan Karate

Thanks for watching and commenting! The Sanchin Kata is great. And that system of Martial Arts has great fighting techniques. I wish you well on your journey and thanks for stopping here along your way!

That is a long form to try and remember for a simi beginner. Though i am somewhat familiar with the initial open hand with the index finger pointing out pumping both hands out to the sides with the breathe and springing the entire body with the hips.

Another great video as always! When most people discuss who their favorite martial artists are the most common names are Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan or Jet Li, etc. but for me it's Gordon Liu! He is my favorite because in his films he starts out as a novice who endures rigorous training and emerges a master hence his nickname master killer. Lau Kar-Leung is also tied with Gordon Liu as my favorite and in my opinion is the best director of kung fu films ever. I'd greatly appreciate it if in future video installments you would show the various Silat forms because most clips on youtube aren't in English and there aren't many that specifically showcase Pencak Silat. I like how you provide in depth knowledge on your Hung Gar videos and I would like to see some Silat demos from you. I find it rather funny in the sense that most Hung Gar demos on youtube are forms whereas Silat videos are mainly just applications and deal very little with forms. I would like to see more about the Silat forms. You went really fast on your solo silat video so much in fact that even when I reduced the playback speed to 0.25x normal you still appeared very fast!
    Sincerely,
    Jeff

I really appreciate the great reply and the inquiry for a Silat video, happy to share a video on the subject!
I too followed all Lau Gar Fai (Gordon Liu) and Lau Kar-Leung's movies, no doubt they were some of the most influential Martial Artists. I meet Gordon Liu back in 2007, he truly is a great icon in the world of Martial Arts, and definitely someone to be looked up too! Thanks for sharing your story and for all your support. Best, Sifu Jacob Brinnand.

I want to elaborate on this demo. I believe Kung Fu can help people. You Sifu Jacob seam honest, hard working, and hold the true essence to this art. I would like to come learn from you, where are you located? I have done Kung Fu for a long time and this looks like it can help people get stronger and help with health issues. Can you teach me Kung Fu? I will message you soon and thanks for posting sir!!!

    How do I memorize this

    • @IronWireMartialArts

Please only learn this from a qualified instructor after many years of training. Improper training can lead to deteriorated health..The goal is to build up internal power after many years as a student..

Is iron wire training similar to sanchin training in karate? Basically dynamic tension training right?

    • @IronWireMartialArts
      @IronWireMartialArts  2 года назад

There are a lot of similarities! Good Question, thanks for asking. The dynamic tension for this demo was over emphasized to demonstrate to the viewer what is actually happening inside. This form actually is supposed to heal from within, meaning it really starts with breathing, then noises which regulate the breathing and have healing intonations, then it works it’s way out to the limbs for isometrics. This specialty practice is Kung Fu for strength and healing within, then works it’s way outward…Hope that was helpful, thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Both similar in the sense they have techniques meant to teach you how to utilize explosive power or one inch punch basically.
