How to Hear PS5 Capture Card Audio on PC using Volume MIXER (Best Method!)

Do you want to know how to Hear PS5 Capture Card Audio on PC using Volume Mixer? This is very easy to do, since your ELGATO or Avermedia capture card has and HDMI passthrough, you can get PS5 audio on the PC. Make sure on your PS5, you have your audio settings for output set to TV. Then on your PC go to settings, sound and then open up the sound control panel. Then go to recordings and find the capture card, then double click on the capture card and go to playback and check mark listen to this device. You will now hear your PS5 on PC with your PC Speakers. You can also use the volume mixer.

2:30 is there a way to do this without having it reset back to 100 after shutting down the PC? Every time I reboot my PC the next day the volume for the capture card is back to 100 and I have to slide it back down to the volume I like.

Hey maybe you could help me. The audio from my hdmi capture card doesn’t sound good through my new gaming laptop called “Dell G15 5511”. For example, what I would normally hear from the Xbox, has a slightly low pitch and is covered with static noises when connected from my capture card (not the one is this video) to the laptop. Why does it sound so crackly on my laptop. Here is the name of the capture card from the computer: Digital Audio Interface (FHD Capture) And here are my laptop’s specifications:

Yes, but only a SUPER small amount since windows is a bit poorly optimized I think. it's hardly noticeable and nothing significant so if setting it up this way is convenient for you then it's not really gonna hurt you in 90% of scenarios. There might be a better way though.
