Hey, I’m confused on which way the crank seals install. In the manual the rear seal flat part faces out, everyone else says it faces the other way. I’m so confused. My motor has the rear seal flat part facing out. ( I didn’t build the motor)
OK.......pistons are scuffed, nut on the starter bendix ?, Use Three Bond for all the case mating and new gaskets with NO red RTV! When you put the base gasket on trim it where it sometimes hangs over the Transfer Ports and blocks flow and use a thin layer of the Threebond to stop the gasket from blowing out at the thin spots........make sure there isn't an air leak at the seal behind the flywheel or you will suck air and never get the jetting right.
I would try a different flywheel, yours could be losing its magnetic ability. Other than that just try to clean up all your connections and you could even try cleaning the stator and flywheel, sometimes they get rusty
Yo, don't use hose clamps on your fuel lines. That can cause an air leak and make the engine run super lean. My ski took off across the lake on me because of this. I changed them out and the problem went away (after replacing every seal on the ski .... lol). Use some fuel hose zipties insead.
@@NastyMoto Np! Thought I'd save you a couple hundred dollars lol. I was wondering while watching the video if that was your rough running issue the whole time until I saw the massive leak.
Dont use a cheap ebay starter, use a SBT starter because they last a long time and come with a 1 year warranty. Also the cheap ones come apart and take out the stator!
its your favorite subscriber again😂
Ayeeee😂
Nasty Moto enjoy it dude
So many old school parts. Nice video!
Thanks man, it rips when it’s actually running 😂
The video should be clapped out gasket sealer 👍
Waiting for the next video!
It’s not the modded motor sadly, but I uploaded a 550 motor!

i have a 1976 Kawasaki js400 that I have have spark for the first couple of cranks then I lose spark. Do you have any idea what it could be?

@@NastyMoto Thanks for the help! Ill let you know what happens!
IMO. I would go with a new gasket kit. would be better in the long run.
Got one ordered!
How many liters of fuel dose this use in an hour?
Probably around 25, if you’re on the gas a lot
@@NastyMoto 25 liters in an hour??? Or gallons?
Liters, probably more an hour and a half to two hours

Thanks for the advice man! I’ll definitely take that into consideration, a runaway ski would not be fun...
