I've looked at a dozen videos on this topic. This was by far the most accessible explanation. As for my textbook, it seems they went to great efforts to convolute the topic. Non-math people taking statistics - start here.

My question is junior intersection senior what will be tha answer
A student would not be able to be BOTH a junior and senior at the same time. They would need to fall into one category or the other. So, since they can't both happen at the same time, the two events are considered "mutually exclusive" and the probability of both occurring at the same time is 0.
