Has anyone seen the Tracey Ullman character (unnamed except for "Ma'am")? The wife of the Governor of Mustique was a close friend of mine, and apparently Ullman's impersonation of Margaret - an impossible, haughty, demanding humorless bitch-on-wheels - is pretty close to the truth. My friend had to entertain Princess Margaret and Roddy Llewellyn to dinner on numerous occasions and it always brought her out in hives from the stress of trying to walk through that minefield. ruclips.net/video/GKgGeq-lk98/видео.html
I never knew about that rule of not being able to continue eating after a royal is done with his or her plate. I doubt I'd have a problem with that though I love my food and eat very quickly as well. In fact I'd take it as a challenge... "let's see if I can finish my meal before the princess does!" But what about when it was just her and her family? would she have to stop eating if her sister the queen finished before her?
+Kay2be2mr As ridiculous as the royals were/are...this rule I feel was rooted in pure meanness and an indescribable spirit of evilness with a total lack of caring! So what happened if I kept eating as a guest? Was it off with my head or being banished from dining with the kween ever again??!! I still don't get how people want to bow down to these entities who are just as dysfunctional, perverted, insane and heartless as anyone else in the general population!!!
You can only blame your childhood for so long. He sounds petulant and mean.
gotta love the old double standard.
grateful for not spilling the beans... I love it!!!

Margaret didn't have enough to do. All these sexual escapedes by both him and her is sickening.
Who did she have affairs with? I've heard Peter Sellers, Rudolph Nureyev and Mick Jagger.
