The Show Formerly Known as the Martin Short Show - Part 2 of 5

This Martin Short Speciall aired one night in place of SNL at some point in the early to mid 90s. I have never seen it anywhere since and it's a shame because it's hilarious. The quality is not the greatest because I recorded it from the TV onto VHS. I suppose poor quality is better than this never seeing the light of day again... ENJOY!!!

Thank you so, so much!! I happened to see this when it aired, and have never seen it since but I've never forgotten it. There are some all-time classic comedy moments in this show, such as the "soap opera" scene above. Always a joy to see the late, great Phil Hartman, too. A couple of the skits might have fallen a bit flat, but the vast majority of this program was a Laugh Riot. Many thanks again for posting!!!

I remember seeing this the first time it aired and I've never forgotten it, right down to specific sketches I've wanted see ever since. "Your brain is like a computer of complete wrongness!" This show has some of my favorite work of Jan Hooks and Phil Hartman. RIP both. Thank you for posting this gem!
