Wow, what an amazing all-around person, graduating in 3.5 years with a 3.85 GPA, while playing D1 football at such a high level, then pursuing his Masters degree while playing in the NFL. I didn’t play college football, but I did play baseball at App State when they were still D1-AA, and that was hard enough to maintain a decent GPA, let alone a 3.85. Competing in the Ironman events during his offseason too. And I love how he stopped talking to the media once he was in the military, that shows you that he joined for the right reasons.I learned a lot from this video, after hearing about him in your NFL players who died in their prime made me think about why he isn’t talked about much anymore. great video as always mike. 👍
and love that drumline in your intro. 🙌
crazy how he did this on 9 11
Wow, what an amazing all-around person, graduating in 3.5 years with a 3.85 GPA, while playing D1 football at such a high level, then pursuing his Masters degree while playing in the NFL. It’s pretty obvious though. That shit is sad.. Tillman was just a marketing campaign to them. The NFL could use some more players like Tillman these days. R.I.P. to a real American hero who doesn’t get a sliver of the respect he deserves.
Again man, another well researched video. I’ll definitely be recommending your channel to my fellow sports fans.
This whole story gives me so much respect for him. But it also makes me very sad
Gives up multi million dollar contracts to serve. Nothing but respects for him. Very few rich athletes would do the same. Rest In Peace Pat Tillman your my idol and your story will never be forgotten
R.i.p Pat Tillman
How can you dislike this smh . REST IN HEAVEN PAT 🙏🏾
R.I.P Pat Tillman. Not one NFL athlete could even hold Pats jock strap.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱 thank you Pat for your service and paying the ultimate sacrifice
That's not the Texas flag lollll
I remember alot of speculation that he was fragged because he was going to blow the whistle on how troops are over there protecting the poppy fields..who knows right
Strange how people don't seem to be allowed to push this theory anymore.
That’s much more believable than the official story
@Wales Eakes I don’t doubt that for a second. I’m glad my grandson forgot his ID while signing up in 2002, he went home and saw a “Newsweek” magazine on the coffee table with an Iraqi soldiers photo, that photo made him realized he didn’t hate that man and had no desire to kill him. We were all fooled by the US government.
He was a good football player and he gave his career and life to protect this country that’s what a real hero is
I think Pat would be speaking out hard on the NFL of today!
Thomas Marks Pretty sure he would have supported Kaepernick. Clarified it for you.
Jed Belcher hahhahahah I doubt that
@@mikegassensmith3669 Obviously you’ve read & know nothing about Tillman. Unhitch your bias & you might yet make it out of the slow lane.
@@balrog322 wow that literally made me have 0 respect for him
@@quattrobajeena135 I expect no less from fake patriots.
Beautiful. Thank you. RIP Pat Tillman
When you’re so early it isn’t even published yet

Rip Tillman
Went over a bridge going to the Hoover dam named in his memory..... gave me the chills.... amazing individual rip
The fact that Brett favre had the nerve to compare Kaepernick to Pat is a disgrace to servicemen and women
Kap and Tillman speak the truth
@Mr_Clean they fought for kap to be able to speak his mind
@Mr_Clean I didnt know it was disrespectful to want to improve your country
@Mr_Clean kaepernick never said he doesnt respect US soldiers or anything like that, but to me and many others it makes sense to speak out for change. Yes many people died fighting for this country. They fought their whole life for their country. Kap is fighting for change in his country just like those fallen soldiers who died fighting for their country. But, im not comparing tillman and Kap
Not American myself, though the story is both inspiring and devastating. An intelligent, courageous and outspoken man ripped away from his family by a terrible set of circumstances.
I feel America, now more than ever, needs more people like Pat Tillman.
‘They shall not grow old,
They shall not grow weary,
Lest We Forget.”
That’s crazy I go to Leland high school and we still honor him we have his jersey hung up in the office my freshmen teacher who knew him has his jersey number he might’ve coached him too not sure
We honor him in Arizona
Shame about the demonetization. Subbed with notifications on. Rock on dude. Great content.
America’s Government kills it’s own people all the time.
This channel is gold. I can't stop watching videos.
Thank you Pat Tillman. I will never forget the sacrifice you made and how the government exploited your patriotism by covering up what actually happened to you.
Such a respectable man
The military used as a religious prop as well. Kept talking about his faith and his brother was unhinged because he knew his brother was an atheist.
Yup he also didn't want a military funeral either
Awesome video.
Pat TillmanRIP.
A true hero.
RIP Pat Tillman
RIP. Incredible person. Sadly these are the people we don’t hear about in every day life but he had the spotlight of football before to show the public who he really was
