Well done david/gary in getting out, fished the first mark quite a lot and can be great for decent coalfish and good codling in an evening with favourable conditions.
Another cracking video Dave and Gary maybe a short session but you both managed a fish a piece, good footage as always with tips and hints to help other fellow anglers and ladies get amongst the fish. Good luck and tight lines guys on your next outing and get those pb's 👍🎣🎣🎣
@@fullcircleangling No problem m8 it's yourself and Gary that make the videos or yourself going solo always a good watch keep em coming tight lines m8 👍🎣🎣🎣
Hi mate that looked tough going but like ya say nice to get out a dont think craster holds fish on the scale of the tide you were out fishing that rig you were using is a pulley like you say but acts like a patter noster rig and works better when you have a fish the rig does its job the way you explained it a was out last night was poor to start off with and like you say worth a move about got stuck in to 3 fish best was 4.6 anyways good vid mate have lovely week end you and gary🎣👍🏻
Cheers mate thanks as always for your support and comments🙏 yeah good bit of kit, especially with a fish on as you say. Glad you’ve been out getting a few, well done👍 tight lines for the next trip out🙋♂️
Thanks for watching mate although I’m slightly confided by the comment? 😂 not sure who Danielle is, we both had waders on and there wasn’t any sand🤷♂️😂
@@fullcircleangling haha, sorry bud. It was meant to go to Hiking Hinny on her efforts in the amble open. 🤣🤣, although I had already commented on yet another excellent video from yourself earlier. So you lose marks for paying attention! 🤣🤣. Sorry bud 👍
Very good well made video's with lots of info, I live in the South of England, Dungeness beach is a shadow of its former self { cod don't visit any more } so its good to see you both enjoying. I have promised myself to make the pilgrimage up North next year, until then i shall dream and upgrade my tackle, truly a pleasure to subscribe to.
Thanks very much Thomas much appreciated 🙏 hopefully you get up here and get amongst a few🤞🤞 shame about Dungeness, what do you think happened, just over fished commercially?
Cheers Nigel much appreciated 🙏 yeah tackle graveyard on places. I’ve heard of the odd conger, that’d be a turn up for the books! Thanks for watching and tight lines🙋♂️👍
Good video lads I was fishing craster last month other side of yous tho and the swells where just to big line was getting pulled allover reeling in loads of kelp I might try where yous are next time am up there 🎣
Cheers Neil. I’m usually fishing to keep the cod at this time of year so stick to hooks at both ends of the bait. Come the Ray and Hound season I’ll be on the dongles for sure. Thanks for watching and tight lines 🙋♂️👍
Nice video Gents. I’m not at all a fan of pulleys, however, you’re onto something there with that particular bit of kit and the stopper! I like the concept of the pulley, just not a fan of the mechanics of it when it comes to bite detection. Let me know how you get on with them if you persue mate 🎣🤝
Cheers mate much appreciated🙏. Yeah they’re a bit of a game changer. Plus, the usually kinks and twists that swivels do to the rig body seem to be eliminated, which is a bonus. We’ll keep you posted, tight lines if you’re out and about 🙋♂️👍
Thanks very much mate. I’ve only really fished the Castle point at the very end, but I’ve no doubt anywhere along that stretch will procedure fish on a given day. Lots of kelp and good ground. Thanks for watching and tight lines 🙋♂️
Cheers Daniel much appreciated mate🙏 New reel is a definitely an upgrade on the XSC, feels a lot sturdier and they’ve somehow made the line lay even better. I’m not sure it’s an out and out kelp jungle reel mind, more sturdier and cheaper reels out there for that (Saragossa for example). But if it’s distance you’re after, then look no further! Hope that helps.👍🙋♂️
When you see it from the air it must be one of the most dangerous entrances in the UK for boats, yet incredibly (I've said this before) large seagoing vessels docked there, poking their sterns out the entrance, pictures are in the Ship inn at Seahouses (I think), did you get some kippers?
Cheers David, yes incredible to think of the size of the vessels that used to dock there! Haha no kippers for me, not my thing I’m afraid! Thanks for watching as always, hope you’re well🙋♂️
Certainly Phil. They’re no longer stocked by Shimano so I was lucky enough to get one second had. You could buy a Bullseye handle knob and take the gamble that it fits the Technium, or do a bit of diy to get it to fit. Hope that helps and thanks for watching🙏🙋♂️
@@fullcircleangling i am like your pal fish next to other anglers catch nothing, but get bites, lose lots of gear. While they pull fish in. I've made some boilies but added mackerel to the mix. I put the cut in with a junior hacksaw. What do you make your dingle dangle with ?
@@audreyhall8644 that’s fishing but what goes round comes round. 🤞 the dongles are either the lazy man’s way with all mono as per a hair rig for carp, or with 120lb braid doubled over and 4/0-6/0 circle hooks. Hope that helps 🙋♂️
Hi Paul. It’s a big step up from the XSC in my view. Slightly heavier but feels much sturdier, so far, time will tell. I just wish they’d supply them as standard with the same knob handle as the Bullseye/older XSB model. Those flat things are useless for our sort of fishing. Have you got an XSD?

Interesting take on the pulley rig mate, not that I need an excuse to buy more tackle 😂 Up the ante on the giveaways? How about some casting tuition for a lucky subscriber? Your technique is ridiculous!
