THE ZOMBIES OF RUAKA Yesterday, I had an interesting road trip from Kisumu to Nairobi. Along the way, I encountered peaceful protesters in Kisumu, Ahero, Kericho, and even in Nakuru. It was quite fascinating to see their dedication as they wiped my car to show solidarity. I decided to support them by giving them water. I chose to take Limuru road, and surprisingly, business was booming in Ruaka as usual. However, I couldn't help but notice that the majority of the youth seemed disconnected from reality. It felt like their spirits had left the country long ago, and all that remained were their bodies. I couldn't help but think about Gachagua and his fight against illicit brew.
