I had the same problem on my car! I used a lightly blunted knife to scrape the adhesive off from the previous owners wing visors, after i used propanal-2 for residue and then slapped some new ones on.
Javi Vibes it took me a couple hours to take it off, carefully scraping it with a dull blade. I tried wd40, rubbing alchohal, goo off, adhesive remover, purple power, simple green. A lighrly dull pocket knife scraping the blade in a cutting motion slowly worked the best, then i used propanal 2 (strong paint remover used in automotive paint shops) to take what was left off. I hear ya bro, but i did it, know you can too.
Javi Vibes keep at it. Btw love the wire tuck. Got my cx in an auto for 700 bucks. Havr a long way to bring it back still. Convert to manual and engine swap.
