I think you're right, I didn't realize the melody changed a bit in that repetition at the end. good catch!

I can't really follow the melody in the earlier parts. Is that a me problem or is the notation just kinda weird?

I do have a habit of altering things while I play, in the beginning here I added quite a bit of harmony and ornamentation when playing so it doesn't quite match the sheets
