The Gentle Storm (Album)
The Gentle Storm is a Dutch musical project by singer and lyricist Anneke van Giersbergen and composer and musician Arjen Anthony Lucassen, founder and leader of other musical projects such as Star One, Ayreon, Guilt Machine and Ambeon. The duo has previously collaborated in Ayreon albums Into the Electric Castle and 01011001. The project's debut release, The Diary, was released on March 23, 2015 in Europe, and the following day in the US and consists of a double album, with the first part being a metal work and the second one bringing a lighter, folk approach

This was the heaviest song on the album, also the album has a gentle version where all the songs are played without electric instruments :D

Yep, finally in 2020 great year for me,i discovery Anneke, first with the gathering 🤣 after with Lukasen, just discovered him because Anneke, the gentle storm after,Vuur ,the sirens With Liv Kristin who discovery from theater of Tragedy and i discovered Leaves eyes from Liv Kristin too 🤣.

@@Metallwish Within tampation it's not unknown to me,i saw some video clip in RUclips i know Sharon from Tarja and the single who has together but never diving too deep into their music.
I like her voice and her performances but i don't know their oldest songs or the story of the band till now 🤣.

I have to make a special mention to a band from the 90s that you are going to love, that left two extraordinary albums and a mythical live concert, "The Sins of Thy Beloved" Norwegian Death/Doom Metal Gothic band with Anita Auglend on vocals.

This was another project by Arjen Anthony Lucassen so its basically another sideproject for him which he did together with Anneke, and for the live shows they assembled this band with a lot of people who also played the live Ayreon shows for theater equation etc.
