Yeah. Even though I never experienced any malfunctions or technical issues, I’m still upset about this year’s AP tests. It’s still absurd that they charged full price for just 2 questions. They should have reduced the price. I would have also been happy if they even cancelled the test. Additionally, many students were going through a lot during that time, due to COVID and whatnot, including loss of family members. And yet, they still had to take the test. Of course, they could cancel and ask for full refund, but then they get no college credit!
The fees for sending scores part actually made me cry tbh, like dang im trying to get ACCEPTED into a school that I'll have to pay thousands of dollars for that I don't have, and you make me pay extra to send these dang scores?
I'm genuinely worried that within a matter of years going to college will only be a viable option for the rich again. If I have kids, they'll probably never even see a college. And the worst part about it is that the only thing you can do in the event of a monopoly, as somebody with no influence on educational or anti-monopoly law, is pay up.

College board offered me a way to earn college credits through a program called CLEP. This program offers courses- with an exam at the end that costs 89$, which decides if you get the credit. As a student, collegeboard is so dumbed down. I am using their textbook, and I genuinely enjoy math, but seriously, this is about as educational in math as a crosswords puzzle is education in english. Too much work, too little learned.
Oh, and lets not forget to lobby the state into convincing them that ALL high school kids should take the test during a school day... that way make use of the existing teacher staff to proctor and not have to pay someone. What a bonus!! Get the state to buy SATs for EVERY kid in 11th grade AND have the tests proctored on the school district's dime! College Board at its best!
Literally failed my AP theory exam bc it was June 2020 and College board doesn't know how to make a decent online test. They gave me half the time but charged full price, and unlike the finals and other important exams, never offered a retake for students who were unfairly graded due to a poor UI

I want to ask you, what are the most important math fundamentals that I need to know going into the test? I'm extremely terrible at math. I've been trying to cram as much as I can back into my mind as I remember almost nothing, but I just don't seem to get better.
I've taken 3 practice tests. My best math score is 430, and my worst is 380.
Thanks a lot for the compliments bro! I think knowing how to apply the area of the circle formula and other area forumlas will be helpful and knowing how to simplify expressions with imaginary numbers and other algebra concepts. Grind through as many math problems as possible today, but take it easy on friday
@@ShivVZG Are you joking? 😂 We learnt these back in early secondary bro 😭
Man all those kids graduating from 2016-2018 are so lucky. I had to deal with such shitty curves in 2019 that it wasn’t even fair😭. Everytime I compared tests in 2019 to the ones in the past, people got much higher scores for the same amount of mistakes! Lokwey wish I graduated anywhere from 2016-2018!!
College Board: "We are gonna gain so much profit and go to a Justin Bieber concert."
Covid-19: "Hello there."
This whole 'education needs to change' thing, while true and something I agree with, is NEVER going to happen because why would it. It's hopeless
College Board Watching this video : Write that down!
As a student, collegeboard is so dumbed down. I am using their textbook, and I genuinely enjoy math, but seriously, this is about as educational in math as a crosswords puzzle is education in english. Too much work, too little learned.
paving a path towards student debts
Not even lying. This years score was 200 points lower than my first one, everyone's score was way lower than previous tests. Tough luck man.
Literally got an ad for the SAT after watching this ad 😭😂❤
"Hella trashy" gets me every time, and so do the parts about Justin Bieber XD. I love your videos.
Lol I️ just realized this vid was made before Covid hit the states so to Hear a concert being held was confusing me.
College Board at its best!
this video has sumed up my whole paradox with the college board
Literally failed my AP theory exam bc it was June 2020 and College board doesn't know how to make a decent online test. They gave me half the time but charged full price, and unlike the finals and other important exams, never offered a retake for students who were unfairly graded due to a poor UI
Gotta love how the first SAT I took I got one question wrong on the math section. If I took it literally a year eariler I would've had a perfect score ;(.
Remember kids, college board makes tens of millions a year in pure profit (nearly a billion a year in net profit) but they can still be designated as Not-For-Profit.
the irony of getting an sat ad on this video 😂
0:25 that's literally what happened to me
😔 sorry man
This was Golden LMAO
hahaha glad you liked it bro! xD I've been wanting to give College Board a piece of my mind for awhile now :P
Best way to increase demand for a product is to make it appear difficult to attain. And create a competition. That’s why Ferrari sells... and colleges too...
Video:is longer than 60 seconds
Me:there was a glitch in the universe
I want to make youtube videos to speak out about collegeboard, but I'm scared that if collegeboard sees them I'm gonna get in trouble during admissions.
$12??? My school is charging us $70 😭
Great video! :D
Thank you!! : )
Love to exist in a nation that isn't horrible.
Hey y'all the college board monopoly is making me worried about my scores(I'm a junior and will be taking the test in March 2021), any advice? I'm planning on applying to a couple Ivy League schools and I think if I do well on the SAT I can get into at least one because I have good grades and really hard classes and a lot of ECs/Community Service.
just don't bother lol. unless you like getting jerked around. I mean, you'll figure it out years later, but hopefully you'll have found something that is more rewarding and stimulating to even think to realize it.....right? eh, im just tired and not happy...you go do you. Just know, when you're young, you're willing to put spins on a spin to spin something new (that's the spin). But when you're older, you just don't have the time for such malarky. there's alot of people who are going to try to foil you just so they get one step ahead while you're figuring shit out. 3kindsapeople in the world, those that make shit happen, those that watch shit happen, and those that are trying to figure out wtf just happened....don't be number 3 (
How are you doing now did you get in
I' m taking my SAT next week I'm not sure if I'll do good
What are you scoring in each section rn and what score are you aiming for?
@@ShivVZG Rn i'm getting like a 1100 and I want to try to get it to a 1200 or higher
Okay you can do it this for sure. Focus mainly on math and writing. Learn ALL the grammar rules first. I used college panda writing prep book but if you find a free source, that works too. For math, use khan academy and do the lessons (free). Grind hard these next two weeks but don’t study at all night before test. Get sleep two days before exam and day before exam
He should’ve of ended the video by saying “No No No, the tickets are on them.” Otherwise this satirical video was pretty funny bro, keep up the good work lol.
That thumbnail is really fun to look at
As someone who missed 1 math problem on that SAT, this hits a little too close
I remember I got trashed by the first negative curve in SAT history
I wish more universities made the SAT and the ACT optional since we all know that college board is pulling strings
At most colleges it is optional. 2/3rds of colleges don’t require it. By 2025 it is expected that colleges won’t be giving out the SAT or ACT.
omg the paying for rush shipping hit home cause I had to do that for two schools and I was so peeved that I was paying $30 for ELECTRONIC SHIPPING
I’m a high schooler and I knew it was bad but not that bad, like the extra money to send out your SAT. fucking hell i feel so discouraged
How ironic is that I got an ad for ACT on this video?
Even RUclips doesn't like College Board ; )
