If your a child of a Irish immigrants, this song is meaning full, hard times for hard people, I’m 64 so it’s a while ago, saw Bruce in 1976 and this song is as relevant today as back then
thank you for your video! well yes, i admit it. maybe, just maybe, I went a little overboard this time and got tickets for 9 shows in Europe follwing the 15 ones on the 2023 european tour. am I regretting? no way! who would regret being surrounded by at least 60k friends every night to spend 3 hours of pure joy with Him? and in all, all, all the occasions that I review this and other videos I see only one thing: joy, joy and more joy. of him, of the musicians and of all the people framed. happiness to be there with him, with all the other people present and rejoice in the joy he gives us every time. thank you Bruce for the last fabulous 40 years spent togheter. i just got back from Dublin and i'm leaving for Prague, and i'm sorry to be "only" 8 concerts away from the end of the tour. but i'm happy to have seen all in 2023 and to have had this wonderful experience around europe with almost a million friends i didn't even know i had. thank you Bruce, because if i am the way i am after 40 years with you it's also thanks to you and the E Street Band. thank you Bruce, Alessandro
That falsetto at the end is beautifully haunting! I heard it live in Belfast 2013 on a hot summers night and I could feel the goosebumps rise as he sang it! Wow 👌
He is performing this song for about the 20000th time In his career and last nights looks like it’s his first time doing it , No going through the motions with The Boss or his E Street band . Class 🎸🎸
Lovely night, really good audience, brilliant song performed beautifully by an exceptional man. What could be better? I do hope some wonderful dedicated fan manages to put together the full, or as much as he/she can of the full concert and posts it. It would be delicious to hear.❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve been a huge fan for over 50 years but the only time Bruce looked up from the teleprompter was when the audience sang the lyrics. It’s disappointing and gives the impression it may be time to retire, God knows he doesn’t need the money.

Thing is, when you're The Boss, you can do whatever the F you want and don't have to listen to the little men.
It’s the little men who’ve made him The Boss. Bruce himself will tell you that.
Imagine, how Frank Sinatra had done this...
Badly
I kind of get what you are saying
