I started growing my own cannabis in the 90's and I'm still happy as a child on a christmas morning when I get a new harvest, it is so satisfying to smoke your your own production, I wish every user of cannabis could make their own to know this bliss. What he says in the end is extremely important, everyone is looking for something different in their cannabis that's why I can't stand some pot snobs claiming this or that is trash because it's what they like or it's not what's hype today. I like to grow a few different strains to use them at different times of the day and to me smells and tastes are a major part of the experience as much as the effect. I have a hard a time smoking a strain with a taste I don't like even if the high is exceptional.

@@Nakkiteline DJ Short is the ONLY person you can trust for anything close to his Original Blueberry.
If he can't provide those genetics to you, and I would recommend you contact him and ask, then you should accept that you will never experience the same level of quality that DJ Short provided.
Seeds just wouldn't be viable anymore, and clones would have drifted, UNLESS sprouted from, or tissue cultured from a cryogenically protected sample of his perfect Blueberry/ Blue Moonshine [the more potent line of Blueberry] genetics.
DJ Short's gear was UNMISTAKABLE and anything claiming 'Blueberry' today is like a fart on the wind. ILGM's version for example. Really 'weak sauce'.
Don't disappoint yourself with a Lie. Nobody can deliver what we got back in the day, and that's not a Curmudgeon view, its just reality. Sort of like 'Skunk'.

One thing is that certain cannabis has more cellulose, like if it's organic.
So that means by nature 100 grams of organic will have less % of thc, because most of its weight is in the cellulose. So hydroponic weed naturally will have higher thc per 100 grams. But that doesn't acctualy tell you how much Medicine is in the glands when you smoke a bowl.
What you have to do is test ripe resin glands for the percentages. Along with other glands. And then use that information along with the standard test. So people can tell which cannabis is more potent relative to its plant material. One gram of cannabis has so many resin glands on it, and they all vary in potency when they finally reach you. That's why them testing 100 grams of their best material doesn't really tell you how potent the glands are. And how many glands you get per gram of flower. That would be a better test.
Another thing to think about is that sugary fruits after drying begin to crystallize. And although this subject is a wood flower, the material overtime breaks down and the chlorophyll sugars begin to crystallize and like a cured bar of soap, you just get a more evenly distributed burn of all the materials in synergy.

I believe he meant by 45 mins in you would've fully felt the entirety of the strains entourage effects 💚

25 years .. really ? Newbie hasn't had the really great " creeper " weed from the 70s and 80s . Your experience is short and not well rounded , claiming your years of experience is lame . DJ is right , higher THC doesn't mean better effects or benefits . Personal favorite still is a Malawi gold , stuck with it for years , highest ever thc was @14% and it's trippy like some old 70s Acapulco gold !!

@@ImaOkieI've also got 24 years of experience but I'm from near Durban originally and growing up we would on occasion have access to great Swazi Gold and Malawi Gold. Doubt anyone born in the 80's (myself included) knows what true Durban Poison is (doubt that it still exists in it's original form) but we had amazing (and loads of terrible) outdoor stuff that would have so many differences in flavours and smells between whatever you bought (that was sold to you as "Poison"). Vastly prefer those strains or even stuff like Silver Haze, Jack Herer, Blueberry, Sour Diesel (whatever your definition of that may be) and even variants from 15 years ago to the more "modern" Cookies/Gelato/Skittlez/Runtz varieties.

I consider it quality smoke if your a good enough grower to get her to sing. But no matter what, shes a low thc girl. Highest I got her was 17% using actual dj short genetics thatve been floating around since way back

With all due respect, blueberry didn’t come from DJ. DJs Blueberry is Dutch without a doubt. This guy is an old generation breeder that makes strains for old heads that can’t handle todays genetics. That’s the truth, I’ve grown from dozens of breeders and hundreds of genetics and all of DJs work is mediocre at best. On top of that these grading tips are terrible lol. Blueberry has a very low threshold and tolerance to me, it’s never gotten me high enough for my preference, never actually tasted like blueberries to me at all. His breeding is far out dated compared to modern strains and these tips are absolutely awful, maybe useful 40 years ago lol

Then why does almost everyone in the industry respect his opinion. You sound ridiculous.
