Im now 2 months in my classic boxed beard for the first time in my life and I think im going for the lumberjack style to compensate my bald head :D
The only mistake I made I shaved off the top part on my cheeks, mustache and soul patch off for the first month making a Khabib's chin strap style, because my beard on the cheeks was thin but now its blending in nicely since i started to grow it out and hope the thin part on the cheeks will fill in completely with time.

Great info thanks. Been busy so I’m behind. Catching up and learning a lot. I went and got a haircut and I have to say it’s different long on the left front passed my left eye and then short on the right front hair stops right before covering my right eye. Cut short all the way around otherwise. Now Im thinking beard or not not sure yet but this was great. Thanks

Currently I have the Van Dyke and trying to grow it more and more, same with the beard. The goal is Short Boxed Beard and then the Lumberjack.
The Van Dyke is what I currently sport, because I can’t grow hair on my cheeks. It looks great. I’m using a minoxidil and derma roller combo to help with that though.
Minoxidil works. I used it myself for 2 years for my beard
