btw. I use a hard soap for the beard from a barber shop and a good beard balm almost daily. That’s it ⚡️
Beard growth can be a brutal experience. About the guy with open spots, it most likely just the way his beard grows. I personally have a lot around my mouth but have patchy spots on the sides. The weirdest part is that my left side is waaaay ahead of my right side, so I'm currently waiting for my right side to come in better to grow a proper full beard.

I like this video! For the guy @12:35; that is an intentional trim under the lower lip and I do it as well. It helps add length to the face, where going fuller can make a round face look even more so...it also helps mustaches stand out which can offset larger or even smaller noses. The middle, or soul patch area, is naturally thicker. I think it makes for a cleaner professional look where a fuller, but still short, beard can sometimes look too casual. You didn't mention the trimmed area to the sides of the mustache, similar to what Keanu Reeves is known for. I'd like to hear if this is seen as too manicured or appreciated extra effort.

My facial hair grows in very uneven, plus I serve the military, so I just keep clean shaven. Also, I have very fine hair that is difficult to control when it gets long, so I jest keep it short. Plus, it is much cooler in the summer.

i use the uppercut deluxe beard balm for a longer beard style
they also have beard oil and shampoo as well as hair products
i don't have hair so i cant speak to it's effectiveness
but the beard balm is the best i have ever used personally
it has a great coconut smell and holds the beard best without being too solid

2 of my favorite beard product brands are Honest Amish & Badass Beard Card - definitely go with beard wash, beard oil & beard balm. Also a nice boar bristle brush and wooden comb as well.
Before I recently shaved it off, my facial hair was similar to the last guy's. I only had a mustache and a goatee which were not connected. The reason being is that my facial hair doesn't allow them to be connected. Kinda similar to Johnny Depp's.

I keep clean shaven, I’m 44 years old and when I grow a beard it ages me too much. I just don’t look good with facial hair. If a woman doesn’t want to date me, because I don’t have a beard etc then she’s not the right woman for me. For those that can rock the beard, keep on rocking it 👍
I feel the same. As a guy who’s is overweight and losing weight. 27 pounds down. I just don’t really like facial hair. I’m 45 and all my 20s female friends thought I was early 30s. When I grow facial hair of any kind it makes me look 50 lol. That including the weight and bigger face. Since I’ve lost weight my face has slimmed down but I still think the facial hair add too much age to me. I asked all my 20s female friends and they said keep shaved or just some stubble is good for me. I’ll take their word on that

@@Jarthewolf will do. You too bro! I went to get my levels checked and thankfully i wasn’t diabetic but it runs in my family so I’m just trying to avoid it.
A good beardoil and you are good to go, sure you can add some beard creme or beard wax from my experience the oil does 80% of the work and if you use it more often the hair becomes easier to shape anyway which safes you most of the other products.
and a tip for trimming the neckbeard if you are unsure how far to trim it: 1Finger wide between the trimline and your adams apple is a good orientation to go with. Never ever make the mistake and shave it all the way up to the chin it looks totally stupid and doesnt compliment your Jawline at all

"Sigh" I'm 37 with a salt and pepper beard. EVERYBODY begs me to dye it because they say I look 47 or even 57. When I do dye it I get compliments up the wazoo. So for me, it's the pain in the butt constant dyeing routine.
A beard will make you look older, so if you've got a nice face going clean shaven might be an option.

My hair is rather like an atoll with a very thin grown island on my forehead. I shave the island, when it gets too visible, but else my hair style mostly is short, with visits to the hair dresser bimonthly.
What would you say? Let it be or shave it all?
I'd like to rock a beard again, but I work in a hospital and most facial hair prevents a good seal on the mask. I mean, I am fully vaccinated, and I'm not a medical worker (I'm one of the IT guys but we do visit all the departments and work with people) so I maybe could do it again... but then, I just ordered a new Panasonic Arc5 shaver...
Courtney, what's your opinion on electric shavers (and dry shaving) versus regular/manual shavers?
I don't have a choice but own q neck beard or no facial hair right now lol just sideburns don't work on me lol and my mustache lacks. It's still in it'd very beginning but it's progressing slowly over weeks and finally getting some cheeks and chin hair in. I probably gonna stick to the short stubble or short beard like the first picture. Easy maintained , less drama with myself lol

Everybody's different. Anybody who's really confident shouldn't care about what anyone thinks. Very few Japanese people have facial hair - something that in Korea is pretty much non-existent, and yet so many girls worldwide rave about male K-pop artists.
