As a token of appreciation to everyone, you can download the character meshes featured in this video FOR FREE from my Gumroad: dikko.gumroad.com/l/yjhhbn. Have fun!
These videos are pure gold. Thank you SO much for posting all this information. You have no idea how much you've helped me, and I'm sure countless others =)
Quick question if you don't mind I'm a beginner in rigging. Wouldn't it be easier to not split the IK legs in front of the body and the IK arms behind the body? That way you could group the IK set, align it to the DEF bones, ungroup the elements and regroup them again with a brand new group. That way your group is still in the center of the world, no constraints needed or freeze transform. While following the tutorials I kept my FK set in front and IK set behind the DEF set and moved them using the world translate using a relative step of 100 units. Then when grouping a set all I had to do is is move it back by 100 in world space. I was curious if there was a specific reason for that, maybe I'm breaking something I'm not aware by doing so. Cheers for the tutorials, they are amazing!
I have a quick question, how where you able to "freeze all transforms" on a locator but preserve its size? When I tried freezing the transforms on my locator, they all shrank.

My lining up for switching doesn't work doesn't work...
Could be pretty good to know how to align IK joints with DEF joints

you are correct :). I split them in the video so its easier to understand exactly what was happening between the 3 joint chains
9:30 how exactly DO you align the IK joints with the DEF joints? :)

In the channel box, there is "local scale" which is basically a way to scale the locator without really scaling it
For everyone wanting to align the IK this method is pretty easy :)
