For those having issues I think I'm understanding why. Wasn't explained but in the previous tutorial, DONT parent the hips to the IK group CTRL of the arms. Just the legs. I realized after that connecting the arm controls didn't parent correctly because its parenting between the hips and the shoulders. Hopefully this resolves the issue but worked for me.

Hi! I've been following your tutorial series almost identically, but for some reason, when I tried constraining the right DEFORM bone to my right should control. the joints snap rotate to a differently from where I want to rotate it. Also, when I tried moving the top spine to test out if the hand DEFORM joint is staying in the same spot, it isn't but the IK joints are behaving just fine. I have no idea where I might've gone wrong... Any help is much appreciated, I'm very new to rigging!

You could try and check out your local orients and rotation values. Otherwise going in to the 'parent constrain' options and double check if you have maintain offset enabled. I don't know if these fixes are the best/ optimal. If it doesn't work then I'm unsure of what has happened. Good luck!

followed the tutorial and everything works great ! except at the end when I try to rotate the torso to see if the shoulders are following. for some reason my right arm decide to become a left arm and goes on the other side of my model ahah ; idk what I did wrong but the only fix I could find was to do a full 360 degree rotation in Z and not freeze transform.
other than that, great tutorial so far and thank you for your help :)

hmm... i cant connect the rotations of the def_shoulder to the shoulder control due to the blend IKFK keying the rotation values of the shoulder, can you please help me out on this?
