The Rook in chess used to be a chariot. A Rook is someone that Rides the chariot... so everything in Chess is depicting a loving thing. The reason the Rook looks like a Tower is cause European Warfare couldn't really use Chariots in Warfare. It has been designed to look like a tower in modern chess.

Rook means a Tower

He clearly knew what he was doing when he picked up Mjolnir. He was minimum "worthy".
Thanks😊
Good catch, missed that one.(The rook)
I always thought the rook was supposed to be a castle, hens the term “castling.”

Rook means an elephant in chess but yes we can understand it as a metaphor of something non-living!
I thought the castle was the non living object in chess
and then He sacrifice the ROOOOOOOOOOOOKKK!!!
Underrated comment
Rook is also a name for a type of crow... which is a living thing.
Please do a bit of QC with these, the grammar is getting worse
I love the chess
What do you mean by it is the only nonliving piece
hes an idiot
Bishop, king, queen, pawn, knight are all names of roles that humans play. While rook represents a non living thing
It means elephant
rook is the only none living object? wtf
