This video goes a bit long but lots to cover and I probably missed a ton of stuff. At the end of the day buy these books if you find them for a good price.

That part with the deleted scene where Yoda mentions Trennis turning, blew my mind. I have a feeling you hit the nail on the head with that one. I'm excited to see the story play out on that.
I have a feeling Krix could be a good sidekick to Ro going forward too. They captured him at the end but he's alive.
I'm so lucky that I had the foresight to grab 2 of everything Star Wars and all the ratios from the very beginning. I knew it was gonna be all canon and it was gonna be glorious.

Top notch brother. Finally got a chance to actually watch this. Like how you stressed that all of this is canon, the comics, novels, and soon to be games, shows, and movies. Also, I agree it’s nice to see them movie away from the Skywalker saga. I feel that’s been their downfall. Not that the original trilogy isn’t great, just that they need to spread out in that universe.
Jim you've absolutely nailed it, crossing over the old Star Wars clones movie with the trennis bust is pretty awesome spot.. I don't know where you got that idea from but it shows that the writer's soule etc have deeply collaborated on making high Republic cannon for Star Wars and you can absolutely expect movies based on this.... I'm not a Star Wars fan As such but I have got most of these that you have mentioned as a first appearance collector but collector but you've pushed me over in too high Republic I'm now becoming a fan thank you.
I’m stacked deep with High Republic books. Like you, I’ve just been picking them up whenever I see them at cover price.I love the mayhew covers, so o have all of them. And I’ve been getting multiple covers of most of them. My favorite so far has been th Eye of The Storm. Thanks for the video!

Those Eye of the Storm 2 covs are good. Easy cover buys alone, Noto man. I’ve been reappreciating Doc Aphra and Kanan’s covers, they are pretty killer too.
Buckets of Blood played the cool sacrifice move. He was turning also. Crazy backstories. Star Wars is slaying definitely.

You sure about the lost twenty? I don’t think all of them go to the dark side or become sith. I believe most of them left the order because they became disillusioned with the teachings/principles of Jedi ways (like Ashoka). I know Ashoka isn’t a Jedi master or apart of the lost twenty, but she left the Jedis because she disagreed with them and she didn’t become a sith. There are some that go dark side like Dooku, but I’m not 100% convince Trennis becomes evil after she leaves the Jedi order.
You are correct. The lost twenty are only referred to as Jedi Masters who left the order, not ones that became sith. At the time of that deleted scene, I don't think that the Jedi even know Dooku is a Sith, just the leader of the separatists.
@@AddMiller221 at the time, you knew after they found after they findout his sith name as obiwan said in ep 3 after the death of dooku anakin becomes palpaltine his new apprentice so they knew dooku was a sith

Great video brotha! Well worth the wait! Thankfully I preorder 3 of everything HR.
I picked up like 20 CGC 9.8 copies of 1-5 for $30-40 when they where being dumped on eBay including adventures 1-5 as well. By book 6 the game was up and it stopped. I just have 8 copies alone of book 2 HRH.
Another great video with awesome insight and detail. wow. I wanted to get onboard with the High Republic as I felt it was Disney/Lucasfilm's approach to their next live-action franchise. Similar to how Harry Potter blew up, started as a book and went to motion picture. I honestly think Lucasfilm SHOULD reset and start a new Star Wars era and this was going to be it, but if its for Disney+, it'll be a little disappointing for me. Unfortunately, I only bought the main High Republic story and ignored the Adventures title as i thought it was an offshoot story for younger readers and wouldnt be develeped into anything. Now after watching your video, gotta hit the LCS and pick up some back issues. (Thankfully i got those FCBD issues). 😉 Thanks again Jim.

Believe it or not no one sold Star Wars High Republic adventures in England except forbidden planet which has a store in New York City as well as London and other places around the country... I ordered the High republic adventures from them because no one else in the country had got them...
I’m fortunate enough to own all of the high republic comics so far, got them much cheaper as I subscribed in December 2019. It’s crazy seeing how much some of the variants are going for now

High Republic Adventures #3 is Marchion Ro's first cover app, released a month before the regular High Republic #3 exclusives with him on the cover.

Well since your last video the LCS’ in my area have caught on and now the Galactic Bake-Off one-shots are behind the glass and so arre the High Republic adventures annuals. Before they did though, I was able to get 7 copies of the annual (4 of cover b). I also know of an LCS that is very crowded and pretty unorganized where there is a stack of annuals that I’m hoping will still be there on Wednesday when I go in so I can grab a couple more copies.

Thoroughly enjoying a Star Wars centric edition of Jim's Comics. Any chance you'll be doing a video featuring spec on the new Obi Wan show on Disney+? I think the issues of Star Wars featuring "The Journal of Ben Kenobi" (Star Wars #7, 15, 20) are essential reading and could be ready to pop soon. Especially that 1:100 variant for #7

I was able to get all of the back issues on ebay or a mixture of other sites. Some of them I got for below cover price.
Enjoyed thr high republic a lot. 1000x better than thr sequel crap.

i saw alot of back issues 2 sittin at my LCS. tried to buy them all since theyve been sitting since last year. They limited me to 1 per person then they started looking them up lol. we did the homework for them smh. #shadybusiness

I'm floored about how many people didn't buy these issues before Jim posted about them. High Republic was a goldmine from day one. No way Disney would sink all that money into developing it across multiple platforms without turning it into a media property.
I think a lot of people were very disappointed by the last three movies and may have tuned it out. There are a lot that were on this from the beginning but for those that missed out they will regret not buying these books at cover price.

I got that free comic CGC 9.8 for $40 as well people just panicked and dump them, so I’m driving home from a Dr apt in other side of town and stopped into a comic store and bought a few high republics and the clerk tells me the story sucks and it’s terrible. Now I’m spending 100 bucks on books supplies etc and msn way yo be a jerk and terrible salesman
