When they said "show stopper" I was fully convinced that they came with Rex. 😂 Maybe next time!
I was betting Rex or the Gila Monster.

I was so hoping it was Rex. I keep watching waiting for Rex to make an appearance
Rex isn't as friendly anymore apparently so they mostly leave her alone
I think Emily is always purposefully instructed beforehand to say and do the things that will freak out Jason the most.

I could tell from the thumbnail Emily brought a rattlesnake but I was pleasantly surprised she brought Sophia instead of Justin Timbersnake, it's so good to see how comfortable Sophia is now compared to her rescue video

You're still part of our snake discovery family Jason. If Emily says you're cool then you're cool. Keep inviting her and you'll keep getting her fanbase over too. We love her to death and want to be involved in everything she does. She does change lives with reptiles, makes us all relieze that the most "scary" and misunderstood animal on planet earth does have sweetness in there somewhere. We love boosting your ratings it's fun to us. It's somthing to do while we wait for Tuesday's and Fridays when Emily post.
I saw Emily and went "Emily and Ed!!" Before clicking the video and just went, "oh, this guy too!

Danggg when I saw that Emily was bringing out a rattlesnake i thought she'd bring Room Service but no! She brought the showstopper of all the rattlesnakes haha.
im going to love the day if they ever bring rex on this show, slowly growing in size and danger were getting there lol, i know it may never happen buuut that will be a fun segment indeed XD

I really liked your video comparing turtles crossing the road to old ladies with a walker! Don't pick them up and take them where YOU think they want to go, find out where they are going and help them get there!

Emily is gifted at this. She took over and helped with the transitions if needed. They work well together.
I, too, expected Miss Rex, but the rattlesnake makes sense for an Earth day segment (all the creatures are valuable, even the scary and dangerous ones).
I want to see Jason at the zoo sometime. Maybe as Halloween bonus content 😊

Jason, for earth day, what you and we need to remember is all of lives are so important for the healthy environment. The rattlesnakes have venom for living, the venom is not for attacking people. What we humans need to learn is “coexist”. Let’s respect them instead hate them. They’re beautiful precious creatures of our planet!

Can we talk about how PROFESSIONAL that was? Firstly love the Earth day theme. Secondly Emily and Jason riff off each other so well by now. Thirdly we VOLUNTEERED to hold snakes- bravo Jason and Paul. But lastly, I think smthn snake discovery fans take for granted is not every reptile handler comes with the ability to legally and competently wrangle venomous snakes. Ofc legality depends on place... but I love that tho Emily kept suspense, she also v clearly handled the snake well and did so in a way that was clearly keeping everyone safe. Indeed, the entire set builds your confidence in her.
That Rattlesnake sure was a showstopper!

I am soooooo proud of Jason for being so brave and openminded, willing to change his attitude towards reptiles.
I used to be a screamer -those poor little garter snakes, I hope they recovered from being yelled at by T Rex for no good reason.
It has taken me 2 years to change my thinking/attitude to the point of me being so happy to finally see my first Garter of the year last week and holding the second one I found 😍🥰..
