I LOVE that they are afraid of Aly, the sweetest puppydog with scales, but don't seem too afraid of the pixie frog, which is the critter in that line up I would be the most wary of.
Kendal was super brave--a tegu can be an intimidating looking reptile to interact with when you're not familiar with the species. Luckily Ally is basically running puppy software in lizard hardware. She's SO friendly.
Most tegu are plain sweethearts ❤ but they look intimidating for many people. I just tell them mine is like a dog with a hair problem 😂 he is the sweetest reptile i ever had

I'm here from Snake Discovery in support of Emily. I hadnt heard of Jason before but I watched his videos with Emily and I'm really proud of him for not letting his fear hold him back. I'm also greatful to him for having Emily on. Sharing reptiles in this way can help others learn more about their fears too. I actually found this episode much better than the last, the last episode the animals were really rushed through, could do with half the animals to get more of the marvelous information that Emily has to share with everyone. I am definitely here for Emily, but I'd love to say i am so proud of Jason for facing his fears and holding the snake! That's awesome! Emily would never put somebody in harms way so if she says an animal is safe to hold and has beenvery well socialized with humans, it is safe to hold.😊 ❤
Honestly, v good point. I don't know that Jason will ever get comfy enough to have a scaley pet, but it would be a great way to view Rex and some of the other animals where the animals and ppl feel safe.

Rex is older than Emily though, so a year off might not phase her. I know she can be territorial about her enclosure though. Jason! I'm here as a member of the Emilarmy of Snake Discovery. My wife thinks you would be perfect to host the enclosure build off. I also think your unique view on the animals is excellent for education. You should do a Snake Discovery crossover where you host the building and have the world meet some of the most amazing people in the reptile hobby. I think you guys have great chemistry and I'm here for it!
I would love to see him be part of the build off and greatly appreciate him going against his fear to share the beauty of reptiles. By doing this, I'm sure it's helping many others with Reptile fears to see its okay.

Emily will have y'all converted to reptile and amphibian enthusiasts in no time! I currently own 13 snakes and 6 lizards here at my small, in-house rescue/rehab/retirement facility known as the Kersey Krew Zoo. 99% of my animals have been either rescued by me or rehomed/surrendered to me and I hope to use many of them as ambassador animals in Educational Programs in my area of Kentucky. 🤘🏻❤️🔥
So not taking issue with your claims, but percentage. 19 individuals have no capacity to fulfill a 99 percentile calculation. If one wasn't from a source of the nature described, the percentage would be closer to 95.
@@freewilly1193 Yeah, except for the fact that I only listed the reptiles I own. I also have 2 guinea pigs, 2 dogs, 6 adult rats with about 20 babies and around 40 mice. Percentage evens out I'd say, though I wasn't trying for precision with it.
I always love seeing reptile people interact with non-reptile people, especially when they confront their fears - sometimes you can see them change their minds in real time! Great to watch Emily doing her thing outside of youtube. Can't wait for Rex to get her TV spot next time ;)

Loved seeing Jason and Emily with a bunch of reptiles again. Fun fact, Tegus are often considered "puppy-dog-like" in the pet trade because of their docility. The biggest issue with them is giving them the space they need to grow and thrive. Most people will build enclosures that take up half of a room because it's very hard to buy an enclosure big enough. Other folks will let their tegus free-roam through their house (supervised of course). They are very chill, if expensive, pets.
Hurray it's Emily! I hope Jason can conquer his fears and one day introduce Emily while holding one of the adorable hognoses. You will get there Jason. :) And then Jason can show up the interns.
It's so cool that Jason's willing to pet and even HOLD these beautiful animals even though he's nervous. It sets an amazing example for so many people to be this honest and willing to learn. Also he's genuinely very funny :)

I didn’t know who Jason was at first but whenever the algorithm brings me back for snake videos I find myself chanting “Jason! Jason! Jason!” like they used to do on Jerry springer! Love from the uk!
Usually on talkshows when there is an animal segment, the host will talk over the expert a lot when they are scared. And never let them talk about the animal what they had prepared. Thats why i never watch them anymore. But Jason, despite being scared, actually asks questions and lets Emily do her thing. I really appreciate that.
As someone who knows some of these animals really well (not as a species, but as individuals), I love watching this guy be freaked out by the sweetest lil potato Ally... But petting Hypno. Like, that dude has a decent chance of trying to eat your fingers. Also I love the idea of him being a host for the build off, but if he is, there should be a co-host that can help grade on a animal husbandry scale.

I don't think Rex would care either way, as she is a very socialized alligator. They do things like take her for a walk at petsmart, lol. 😂

I'm impressed that you felt the fear and touched the reptiles, anyway, Jason; well done! This visit was a lot more entertaining even than the first one! Loved seeing Aly, the clip of Rex and of course, Emily! I can't recall what brought me to Snake Discovery channel but one of the most memorable videos was Emily giving Rex a bath at her house - that was wild, lol.
Anyway, glad to see the mutual support between two long running channels!

I love that we got a lil more time with animals to learn about them, and the dynamic with Jason and Emily feels a bit more as well too. Bravo to Jason and Mason for holding their animals too 😂 And I think Kendall will be fine with a human baby, since those usually don't have tails 😂 Also love that we got to see some of Rex, and herping adventures! Really dipping a toe into all aspects of Snake Discovery, with the Jason show. And thanks again for having us 😊

I love it that Jason is starting to “walk through my fear”. That is part of what these RUclips reptile educators do, help people get over their fear, begin to like reptiles, and be kinder to reptiles. Ed and Emily do a wonderful job of this!
