Steve autographed signed an aviation book for my son when he was barely 4 years of age, back in '87 in one of our visits to POF in Chino, Cal. My son is now 25 and his greatest aviation heroe is Steve Hinton all the way..!! So great to see how that museum has grown so big through out the years. congratulations to Steve and his crew, best wishes to all of them...!!
This plane is endlessly interesting. Hella fast for it's era and still great at subsonic like a Mustang with it's propeller exchanged for a jet, it's a whole other time. It's cool to watch different pilots and different variants and think about how much combat these saw. Some would really be impressed with it's guns, like an early A-10.
My step dad, Parker Gayden used to volunteer at POF years ago and used to work along side of Steve Hinton. He used to tell me all the cool things Steve did. Very cool to see him in flight!
There is no question that the F-86 was a Mig killer! Great video and thanks. I would love to own any type of jet but for the cost of the aircraft and fuel.
I have a pretty good understanding of how the various control surfaces work but I have no idea as to how that movable leading edge works or what it is supposed to do.
Great video and you can tell this is no walk in the park. Mr. Steve is doing some heavy breathing up there. And I wish I could be in the back seat if there was one. All he needs now is a train to strafe.
Superb aircraft and a legend flying it but what an awful missed opportunity to film something memorable. Who in his or her right mind wants to experience a fast jet trip facing the back end? Hopeless camera angles. People want to see the pilot’s perspective, not be checking six the whole video.

Video was great up until 0:56 where some crap noise kicked in.

F86 great plane!
Amazed to see the leading edge slats deploy and retract so frequently!
Thanks for the ride along...it was great!!!!
Loved all the rolls and loops. Great Video.

My uncle flew Sabres with the Royal Canadian Air Force here in Canada and in Europe in 52-53. He was killed in a Sabre crash in France in 1953.

Awesome. F86, nothing beats it. Awesome.
I wanted when I was a kid to be a jet pilot. It was the f-86 I wanted to fly .
Me too.......... I did not have 20/20 though. I did 5 flight courses however and got many licenses and ratings and hours !! :)
Fantastic.
What's that music's all a bout
*music, *about
This would have been great if it wasnt for the music !!! The only music that should be playing is the wonderful music of the F86 itself.
i love the music to be honest. and look at his expression on 3:15 woah :)
really dont care for any music in these, so I mute them , easier to concentrate on the visual effect.
Awesome.
Amazing how quick they get off of the ground without the added weight of armaments. ;-)

Nice VEVO Music video... this is the official music video from the band or...
I stopped watching when the music started. It's distracting.
Turn it down. You can't hear anything anyway.
same, I stopped watching
Just turned the volume off.
It’s just as well, we don’t allow temper tantrums on the big boy side of RUclips.
Should have only had engine sounds...........outside and inside sounds. Guys who flew this plane loved it.
DROP the music!!
CUT.
please make another video without any music. i want to hear F-86 sounds, please. We can add our own music if we want.
My father flyed f86 in korea
Prettiest airplane in the sky - ever.
Cool video! What song is that and who sings it? Thanks👍🏼
Always check the description for the song titles
