Just got a pair of power blocks and was going to build something in line with the power block stand but after seeing this I love having the extra space. It is so much more functional for any other purpose as well. You convinced me, I’m going to duplicate that design. Thanks for sharing
Thanks but there are no plans I just bought a bunch of 2x4 studs and a sheet of 3/4 inch plywood and got to work. It's way over built for any pair of dumbbells regardless of weight. This could hold a ton, literally if placed directly down on top of it.
Thanks. It's not too bad and the best part is, they dont have to be pretty. I've had three guys plus the dumbbells on it for fun and it didnt even make a sound. Over 700lbs was easy.
For people who have room it's far better than the little powerblock stand. I can easily have both dumbbells and the rest of each stack on the table together without the need to place them in the stack. Plus I have room for other items. For me it's a lot more functional than the small powerblock stand.

Yeah, this stand is bomb proof so it could be used for anything down the road. But it's working perfect for the blocks currently
Very nice, this is the first step of building a home gym and I was thinking I could even put my kettle bells on there as well. Best of luck to you
@@dandavis6674 Thanks, you too
Hey bro, thats a sturdy stand. Can you upload the plans for this? Thanks.

Nice work! I really would like to build something like this at some point. I don’t have the knowledge or space for one currently though. 😞

Can I ask how much did you pay for you Powerblocks ?
I got them used for 350. New they are over 600. These a just like new. Barely used, which is typical of a lot of "used" excersise equipment.
That was a great deal I’m looking for a pair just like that in great condition also. Stand looks great how is it holding up ?
Used post covid cost more then new for no reason.
this thing is a beast. sucks up too much room
