@@pryme2013 You did a lot of reps when you were doing grippers. Read and see many who advocate doing many reps on lighter grippers do not give much on closing heavier grippers. You trained very frequently, also not so many days of rest, but ran every day with lighter grippers. I can close a heavy #2 and can almost keep a 2.5 closed for a while after helping to close it with the other hand and then holding it as long as I can manage. Sometimes run several reps on lighter grippers but usually run heavy on harder grippers. Got a HG 250 now that bridges between Cc 2 and Cc 2.5 and will work hard on it. It takes time to build a grip, but I often see those who have built a solid foundation, their grip strength stays the same despite several years of rest, so they don't lose much strength. Hard to know how much to recover, I ride hard one day and rest for 2.5 days and ride again. Been training for a year and seven months now and my goal is a Cc 2.5 but have a No. 3 too! My grippers are T 0.5 1 1.5 2 2.5 3 captain of crush and I have HG 250 and 300. But do you prefer reps on lighter over heavy training or did you do both?

Every suzuki i have every owned has been amazing. My only one complaint came from a king quad whos front differential cracked and was not covered by warranty due to my "tires". That said i was towing some heavy shit and likely am the cause. That said, all other cases, suzuki has been nothing shy of perfect. This GSXS1000GT is no different. I love this bike and after my first service had similar results of perfectly clean oil and filter. My aging DR is the same. It still has super clean oil for a thumper and it just never wants to die. Its done the tat a few times, its done hatfield mccoy, its done countless road miles, and it just keeps chunking along. You just can go wrong with suzuki engineering. Yep, I agree with others, it's easy and simple (after the second or third time) to remove the fairing and makes it much easier to do the job. I buy the OEM 4 liter oil change kits, you always use 3 liters and have one left over for topping up if you need it, I go with the R9000 full synthetic. I'm at 13K miles, had the dealer do the first 600 mile service, have done the rest myself. One other tip, lay some foil in between the filter and the pipes as you will have oil dripping onto the pipes, it makes cleanup easier and you won't smell burning oil for miles afterwards. Oil changes are easy, just wait until you change the plugs, that's going to make for an interesting video for you..... 😉

@pryme2013 heh....10K miles comes sooner than you think on this bike. It seems like a really short service interval for iridium plugs, so I asked a mechanic about it, and it makes perfect sense given that motorcycle engines run a higher RPM on average and run at higher compression than car engines. Oh, and if you're going to do the plugs might as well do the air filter so you don't have to take everything apart twice. 👍

This platform is literally a forever bike, if you do basics , really really hard to kill and value clearance is seldom an issue. Plugs, air and oil filter, fresh oil. And always buy multiple crush washers so you never ever make the choice of reusing old washer. Another note on this bike is pay attention to chain wear. You can get an O-ring chain and counter sprocket and rear chain ring as a kit. Brake pads are standard and easy, replacement before they need it will make rotors last way way past the service internal.

      That’s true. Still a 7,300 pound truck.

    That’s not an HD truck

Well I guess that depends on your definition of HD. It’s a 2500HD

Video is also in 1080p so it is definitely an HD truck 😂@@pryme2013

I've had slower cars in the past (probably no quicker or barely quicker than a Mirage) so the power wouldn't both me. It's the lack of insulation against road and engine noise. I've read and watched many reviews and they all comment on the noise. I just don't want to hear it anymore to that level (my 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer was noisy as heck).

It wasn’t that bad really. Much quieter than old cars

The Car Care Nut does NOT recommend doing that "conversion". ruclips.net/video/G_vl2AYe7Yg/видео.html&t

Damn bro... that is strong. I just hit 90x4 for the first time at 180lbs. Hoping to get 120 one day too. (But my gym only goes up to 90s lol)

Keep at it! Just for comparison, I was doing 90’s for 26-27 reps when I was doing these 5 reps paused sets with 120’s or 7-8 reps with 120’s not paused.
